You Found Me[EDITING]

Chapter 3

I was running to where I had to go, with Chi on my head hanging on like normal. I was running for awhile and decided to take a little break. Where I stopped, there was a little spring. I walked up to the spring so I could fill my canteen. The view was beautiful. No matter how many times I've been here, it still always amazes me. I was admiring the scenery until I heard rustling from behind me in the trees. I grabbed some of my daggers ready to fight whoever it was. The bushes where the sound was coming from started moving and it came out I was ready to strike, but stopped when I realized that it was just a little white rabbit. I sighed and looked over to Chi. "I think I'm over thinking this mission Chi. I don't know why I have this bad feeling. Maybe I'm just a little on edge since Obi is here." I laughed sheepishly. Chi just looked at me confused and just hopped on my head ready to go. I nodded as I started to run again.

I finally reached my destination and got the message for Prince Raji, now all I have to do was go back to the castle. I was hoping that it would be an easy run back home, but I was dead wrong and that feeling I got before, was right. I got jumped by some bandits at least I thought that is what they were, but unfortunately for them I was ready to fight them. There were three men, two of them had a sword while the one didn't look like he had anything. 'I need to keep my eye on that one. He obviously is hiding something.' I thought to myself still looking at all three men. One of the men with a sword came after me a tried to swing it at me, but I just dodged it and punched him in the gut, then the other came after me doing the same stupid crap his buddy did, and once again I dodged with ease and kicked he's side. I looked up to see where the third guy went and he was behind me. He started to speak. "So why won't you let us see your face." He said as he walked towards me. I took out one of my daggers and threw it at him he tried to dodge it, but he got hit on the cheek and the dagger got stuck in a tree that was behind him. He winced and touched where he got hurt. "That was a bad decision little missy. If I were you I would just listen and come with us, but if you don't I'll just have to kill you."

"Why do you want me so bad? There is nothing special about me." I looked at him ready to still fight him as he got closer to me.

"Well your wrong you are special." He chuckled at his stupidity. "Oh you want to know why you're special." He said as he circled around me, and me watching his every move. "You're special because you're a messenger for Prince Raji and with that you probably know a lot of stuff about him, the castle, and royalty. That stuff is useful for us." I glared at him while he was still walking around me.

I saw that the other two were back up now and going towards the guy who was talking to me. At this point I realized that he was the leader of the two and theses guys weren't at all just bandits. The other two talked to him, but I couldn't understand, and before I knew it they both ran up to me and tried to attack me at the same time. I was able to dodge one of their attacks but not the other. I got stabbed in the side, unfortunately it was deep. I grabbed my stomach in pain, but continued to fight.

The leader of the group stared at me before he got something near a tree. I was too busy fighting his two underlings to notice that he picked up the same dagger I threw at him earlier. "Oh and you can have this back I do believe this is yours." He threw my dagger back at me, but I barely noticed and it scratched my left cheek trying to dodge it. The other two men came after me when I wasn't paying attention to them. They grabbed me and held me to the ground. I winced in pain as one of them held my bandaged arm and I could feel it starting to bleed again.

The leader walked up to me and got on top of me. He then grabbed a knife from his back and held it up to my neck so I couldn't try anything. "I have to go now, but before I do I want to see that pretty little face of yours." He grabbed my mask. I tried to move but only to make him put the dagger closer to my neck to the point where it bleeding. "Now, now, no need to try and get away there is no point." After that he pulled it off revealing my face. He smirked and got off of me. "Now that I know what you look like I'll be off. You can go back to the castle. I'll come back for you later. That is, if you are still alive." With that he walked away with his two buddies and left me bleeding.

It started to rain when I was trying to get back up. I told Chi to head back to the castle with the letter attached with another little note about me for Prince Raji. "Alright go ahead of me and give this to Raji." I said weakly. I know Raji gets worried when I only send Chi back without me. Right now I can understand if he gets mad at me.

The castle wasn't far from where I was. I was walking holding my bleeding side. I tripped a few times scraping my arms and legs. I was almost to the castle gates when I saw Obi and the rest. I fell before I got to the gates and all I could see was someone running to me before everything went black.

I want to say sorry again for the late update. I've been working with my step dad at his shop because he need someone to help him and plus I needed money for some stuff I wanted to buy.
