The other one

Jean didn't know what to do after Marco's death, but little did he know someone was growing on him.

Jean POV

I walk down the stairs from my bedroom, why? I thought to myself why? Does the survey corps wanna get us up a 5:30 am just for a morning run?! But on my way down I spotted everyone else who was like me half asleep my eyes landed on everyone but the last one a small blond with sky blue colour I blushed slightly, why? Why did I blush?! I can't , just jump from one to another like a parasite. I looked the other way when his eyes met mine, I scald but I couldn't  help but blush a light pink.

Running exercise ~~~~~~~~~~

I stared at him from time to time to check on him, he was always falling behind, just like shardis had said "he is not athletic in the least but academically brilliant", I carried on jogging my eyes landed on everyone till they met the leader, even the commander was joining us this morning he was probably watching all of us to see what we are like the man behind him a raven black haired short man and Eren not even a inch away from him it was as if eren were his dog, I groaned "Jean, what's wrong?" I heard a person next to me say, it was ARMIN! Omg what do i say? I will sound crazy if I say I was talking to myself or if I told him the truth about his best friend, wait why am I freaking out about this? It's not like I have a crush on him or anything, I loved Marco not him I can't just jump from one to another like that. (BTW if you're thinking that jean should have a crush on Mikasa I find it just as a excuse so people don't find out he likes boys)

Back At Survey Corps Male Dorms~~~~~~~~

When we got back it was around 7:15 so we had 15 minutes until  breakfast, 7:30  is the time we have breakfast and then it ends at 8:10 so if your late you are gonna have to go without till lunch which is not till 12:55, but anyway I was in the hall after running going  into my room where I climbed my ladder and lied on my bed I was going to lie for 15 minutes straight to rest my legs. but then I saw..... Armin enter the room with connie I looked at them both before lying back down carefully to make sure I didn't cause attention to myself.

"Hey Armin I'm going to go down now because I need to get in line or all of the good stuff will be eaten!" Connie announced before running out the room and slamming the door behind him, I bobbed my head quietly over top of the bunk to see Armin sitting on the bunk beneath writing something in his journal/Dairy I guess.

We only had roughly 5 minutes till breakfast began, I know time flys when your busy reading your best friend/ new crushes diary  he started writing about Eren and Mikasa and then I groaned " oh JEAN! I.....I didn't know you were up there" Armin screamed, I got out of my comfy position and climbed down and sat beside him, he closed his diary and set it aside, I sat next to him and asked him one somber question "do... Do think Marco would like me to move on or....?" Tears came to my eyes after saying his name, Armin put his hand around my shoulder " hey.... Hey it's ok Jean..... And I think Marco would love to see you happy and not grieve over him..... So yeah I think he would love to see you move on" Armin said in a quiet and gentle voice.

Armin POV

I embraced him for while before letting him go and the truth is I will never know what Marco would have said but being his close friend I understood him more and more everyday and I think from the bottom of my heart and how much i knew him that is what he wants.

He stared at me with his light brown eyes before pulling me close and giving a little kiss on my lips
Before running out in embarrassment I blushed and thought to myself                                                                     

"Maybe Jean just maybe"
