5 hours before the crash
In the planet of Quartu was two evil villains Doctor Nafarious and Drex they were making robots to help destroy planets so they can make Drex's own planet that he can rule. The robots were being inspected but there was a defect.
"Why is there a defect!!!!!!!!!" Yelled Dr. Nefarious.
"Don't know but destroy that defect suck up." Said Drex.
Then Drex sent out his henchman to destroy the defect which is Clank. Clank ran and ran to escape the ship and he did. He got an escape pod but it malfunctioned and landed in Ratchets home planet and that's when they met at the crash site.
