After class was over, there was an announcement on the loud speaker from principal showalter "Nina Patterson's death is a great shock.Once you've seen the grief counselor, you're free to return home.
Classes will resume tomorrow." she said. Tiana groaned and slouched down in her chair, putting her phone up to her face covering it.
"This Wi-Fi sucks." Jake says starting the conversation "no shit sherlock" Tiana replied with an annoyed tone. Jake squinted his eyes at the small girl, and just continued talking
"The cops aren't saying much. Her mom found her body. The victim of foul play. I need gory details."
Jake continued only to get a annoyed and arms crossed Emma
"Um, hello?Miss? Why am I here? " Noah asked but the lady just walked on by. "That's the "mandatory" part of mandatory grief counseling." Emma said.
"No, but seriously, I feel shock, mild interest,but not grief." Noah continued
"Guys, Nina was murdered in cold blood. Do you not even care?" Riley spoke up
"It just doesn't seem real." Emma spoke up.
"Here we go."
Tiana rolled her eyes and put her earbuds in and continued to watch the next season of bobs burgers on Netflix.
"One of Nina's neighbors tweeted that her throat was sliced ear to ear. The press is all over this. They're playing the whole "Maybe Brandon James is Back" angle." Jake said with pure interest.
"Brandon James is dead." Emma spoke up and walked away. Causing Tiana to look up from her phone and throw it in her bag out if embarrassment.
"Who's Brandon James?" Kieran asked catching Tiana's attention. "Uh, he killed a bunch of students 20 years ago." Tiana said softly cuddling up to the thin flannel that was placed on her baby bottom smooth skin.
"He, um He cut some others up. This is him." Noah continued while showing them a picture.
