'The day's almost over' I think to myself as I scrible on my paper. I hear some ones throat being cleared, and I stiffen some. I look look to my left and see a girl with blondish brown hair, light tan skin, and some amazing eyes, one was green and the other one was brown. "Hey, do you mind?" She points to the chair beside me. "Go ahead" She nods and sits. 'Gyaaa, why, why did she have to sit here?' I try and avert my eyes but can't seem to. I look more closely at her, she has a small yet large scar on her jaw. 'I wonder what that's from?'
For the rest of the class period I doodle on my paper and occasionally glance at her. 'Who is she?'Time skip
'Ahhh, my place of worship.' I think to myself as I place books on a shelf marked 'Teen Fantasy '... I know it seems odd, but we all have our happy places, mine just happens to be in a magical land of books marked Fantasy, and Fiction. I turn around and run head on into something. "Fuck, that hurt." I herd someone hiss under their breath, I look up and see the girl from earlier. ' What? Why is she here?' "You okay?" She askes as she holdes her head. "Yeah" I say half mortified. 'Why am I talking to her? RUN, RUN AWAY!' I scream in my head. "I never got your name." She looks at me curiously. "Ian" "Ahhh, the Lord is gracious." "What?" I say as I rub my forehead. "That's what your name means, it's also the Scottish version of Jon." "Oh, cool... Bye" I start to speed walk away. "I'm Lucy." I stop and look at her. She chuckles. "See you around Ian." Then walks away. 'Lucy, hm.' I smirk slightly, then stop. 'Why am I not afraid of you?'
