Surprise attack, Your soldier falls.

Get back up, protect your walls.

Boom, another blow, you're knocked back down,

People scream, they flee the town.

You look around, no one to be seen

except your family, they stand there, keen.

"You can do this,", "We've got you," their words are encouraging.

You push yourself to stand back up, towering.

You're higher than before, and your mother calls out,

"My baby, I'm here, if you need me just shout!"

You load your rifle, and with that you shoot.

Your opponent falls, they're down on a foot.

Your family, they celebrate 'cause you're coming home today.

"You've got this in the bag, you're one step away!"

You shoot for the other, but you just miss the target.

their rifle takes view, they seem to be set.

Boom, and then you're down.

But your rifles in reach, you refuse to frown.

Your mother, she panics, "Baby, fight!"

You push, and you do so with all of your might.

You're back up, two feet standing.

You smirk at the enemy, you stuck the landing.

Unprepared for what comes next.

You feel a bullet sink into your chest.

Your mother sees red, Your siblings, shocked.

You glance at the enemy, eyes locked.

You feel yourself drifting away,

but your mother begs you to stay.

You fight the feeling, and up you get.

One more shot, your strength is kept.

"My angel, you must fight, you're strong!"

Your mother's words carry on.

But then its over, her sobs are there.

clearly shown, so unfair.

You stand beside her but it's hard to watch.

She holds your body, but you can't feel her touch.

It's hardest to see your Sergeant fall,

but by her side, you stand tall.

You fought for your life, your strength is evident

And now to heaven you must be sent.

To watch over your sergeant, protect her from above.

be her chief angel, her little white dove.

Know that you won't see me but I'm always near,

watching over you, you have nothing to fear.
