Cori's POV

"Cori, your suppose to make us breakfast!" My older brother called to me.

He's hardly a brother at all, I have little love towards him for the way he's treated me since Mom and Dad left after I was born.

I had to hurry and cook the pack breakfast before I went to school.

School is hell thankfully it will be over in 2 weeks.

I have very few friends I'm not popular nor a loser, an in-betweener. Kyle, Veronica, Lindsey and Cole are really the only ones I talk to around here.

"Coming!" I yelled from the top on the stairs.

I put my long brown hair into a bun and began to make pancakes.

They left me to do the dishes and I was going to be late for school if I didn't hurry.

No one will drive me to school because they all want me to walk and end up being late. I have to be the first one home and the first one up to make them food or I get in trouble for it.

I rushed into class and threw my back pack under the desk in a hurry to sit down.

Most of my school has werewolves and some of the teachers are wolves too. The humans are still oblivious to this.

"Nice outfit Cori." The packs slut Sabrina laughed at me as she sarcastically made a comment about my outfit.

"Coming from someone who's hardly wearing anything." I snapped at her.

"Ugly whore I'm not going to waste my time talking to you." She said and turned away from me to talk to Jake which is our soon to be alpha and his mate Caitlin.

"We should fight her, I know I can win." My wolf growled but I pushed her away.

I'm tired of her always bullying me, for as long as I can remember she's always done horrible things to me.

The day went by pretty fast and I decided to ditch my last class, gym.

I walked through the thick forest and decided to go for a run and have enough time to make it back home.

I walked behind a tree and took my clothes off and began to shift. I heard the sound of my bones cracking as my wolf was let out.

No one has seen my wolf yet, my mom told me before I left to never show anyone my wolf until I fully trusted them and that is no one in my pack.

Putting the clothes in my mouth I ran off into the forest. I love the feeling of being free I will never get over that amazing sensation nothing could be better.

"We need to be free and not stuck with this pack, let's leave now." My wolf howled at the thought of freedom.

"We can't leave, where will we go?"

"Away from here." She growled.

I soon saw in the distance a large brown wolf and I quickly hid behind a large tree crouched down.

It was alpha Jake, well he makes me call him alpha but what is he doing here?

I better leave before he sees me that could be very bad. I waited until his back was turned and took off back to the pack house. I got there and realized everyone was home, trouble.

I shifted back and ran inside. I immediately began cooking food for everyone.

"Cori, your late. Why weren't you here on time making us food. We give you one simple job and you can't even do that. " Alex the third in command yells at me has he strikes me across the face with his hand.

"I'm s s sorry." I said the tears streaming down my face as my face begins to go numb.

"Your so useless you deserved to be punished." He laughed and pushed me down into the hard floor and began to kick my sides. "Think you learned your lesson." He said leaving me alone to lay on the floor.

I got up off the floor and limped back up to my room.

Why doesn't my pack accept me I wondered to myself as I lay motionless on the ground.

"We're leaving." My wolf growled and for once I agreed with her.
