A week has passed since Jungkook's absense. Though the numb feeling I constantly inhabit still hasn't gone, there has been a regression to the mean. Acceptance has slowly but surely been washing over me, leaving me almost forgetting everything that happened.

Add a week of not even talking to Jungkook to that matter. No laughing at his cheesy texts, hearing his laughter that made my heart ache, seeing his bunny smile. Absolutely nothing. And maybe that was the reason why I'd begun to forget. To accept.

I sat at my kitchen table eating lunch where Jungkook's paintings were still stacked. A daily reminder of his whereabouts. I stared and stared at them as I scoffed my food down, not wanting to be forced to stare at them longer than I had to.

I hadn't even earned a break to settle on my couch as a vibration from my phone made me jump out of my skin. Yoongi's name illuminating on the screen. I picked it up, mentally rolling my eyes on the other line. "Hello-"

"Go to the salon!" And he hung up just like that. Probably being one of the quickest conversations, if you'd even call it that, I'd ever had with Yoongi. I was used to his blunt, narcissistic attitude, but there was a sudden urgency in his tone that already had me sliding on my jacket and shoes.

Running out the door not knowing what to expect, I hop in my car speeding off to the salon. My knuckles turning white for I clenched the steering wheel tightly in my fists.

The salon was the last place I wanted to go. It's walls basically had Jungkook's name all over it. Memories lived inside that building that were so painfully beautiful. I didn't want to have to relive such moments, only to break down again after having forgotten about him for a good week.

The familar lights of the salon came in my peripheral view as I turned into the familiar parking lot. My distant stare almost immediately turned into the most confusing expression as soon as I realized the sign no longer read Yanghwa Nails and Spa.

Instead, bold black letters shown across the front of the old building read as Yanghwa Tattoo Parlor.

A hand plastered over my mouth as I had to keep myself from squeeling aloud. Tears brimmed the waterline of my eyes, burning as they threatened to spill. There was no mistaking the situation at hand.

Yoongi stood perched up against the peeling wall of the building with a smirk etched on his face. Nodding over the area next to him, my heart seemed to be glued back together after being torn apart each each day this boy was gone.

A happy Jungkook stood proudly next to his hyung, signiture bunny smile noticeably growing wider as he saw my face come into view.

I flew my car door open, slamming it shut and tripping over the sidewalk in the process. I earned a snicker from Jungkook, only causing my day to become even brighter. There was no more time to waste as I just ran. Ran like my life depended on it because it wasn't until this very moment that I realized Jungkook was my life.

He stood waiting for me, arms outstretched preparing for an embrace as I tackled him without warning. My weight against him caused Jungkook to slip on the concrete, sending us both tumbling down to the ground.

In a fit of giggles, I landed on top of Jungkook with both his arms secured around me protectively. Legs tangled between his, I took his face in my own hands and did what I needed to do.

I pressed my lips to his firmly in such a way it felt like the first time. He moved in sync with me, each small movement filled with longing. The kiss mirrored the days we've gone without eachother, savoring the moment.

Eventually we knew we had to pull away. I sat up straddling him for we were to lazy to get up from the ground. Hands resting on his heavily beating chest I laugh. "What a nice surprise."

Standing up, I offer a hand Jungkook helping him stand as well. I stood still, staring at this being in disbelief that he was here right now.

A bored looking Yoongi yawned rather loudly, rolling his eyes once he'd gained our attention. "Are you guys done your little reunion or..." I slapped Yoongi playfully, giving him a well deserved hug. I could feel him smile into my hair as we pulled away.

Turning my attention back to the one and only Jeon Jungkook, I yell. "What the hell are you doing here?"
