Chapter 1 : The Corrupted One

~England October 31, 1647~

A large blood red moon slowly rises over England as people gathered in the center of the town as a man stood on a stage and spoke to the people who had gathered.

" My brothers and sisters please heed my warning for as the red moon rises over head tonight the demons, and beasts of Hell will walk though the town and take any soul they see , so go home and hide your children lock your doors and windows and don't answer the door until sunrise or else you may not make it though the night." The man said aloud. The people just stood there and laughed at the man calling him a pitiful old fool.

"Please you must hurry before midnight comes or we shall all d--!" The man was suddenly stopped when a large bell began chime signaling midnight as it rang a loud screeching , roaring, and hissing noises filled the air.

"Run now before it's too late" the old man said before a stone like tail erupted from his chest and blood began to drip from his mouth as the tail was removed from his chest to revile a gargoyle with red eyes and large charcoal black horns and sharp teeth. The crowd began to run and scream in terror as the gargoyle jumped off the stage and flew at a woman and bite into her neck ripping out her jugular vein. A blonde haired boy started to run towards am alley and hid as he saw man run by as a werewolf slashed at the man's back causing him to fall as the beast ripped into his back with it's claws and pulled out his spine with it's teeth as it began to eat his insides. The man stared at the boy with lifeless eyes as the beast devoured the guy. The boy sat there frightened and unable to move until he heard a voice behind him say " come with me"

The boy turned to see woman with long brown hair, green eyes, and pale skin as she put her hand out. The boy took her hand surprisingly it was almost ice cold but that didn't matter he wanted to get away from those monsters.

"This way" the woman said as she ran with the boy into a open door of a house.

Once inside the woman locked the door with a large board and locked the windows with latches and turned to the boy who was shaking with fear.

"Relax yourself young one nothing will get you inside here." the woman said as she embraced the boy in a hug holding him close to her bust as a mother would do with her crying child.

The boy smelled her hair it smelled of roses and calmed him as he started to drift off to sleep until he heard a hissing noise as he looked up at the woman had bright yellow eyes and fangs extending from her mouth.

The boy jumped back in fear as he made a run for the door but was stopped when the woman appeared in front of the door blocking his exit.

" I tried to spare you pain child by letting you sleep but now I will just have to feed on you when your awake" the woman said as her voice had a hiss in it.

The boy began to back up slowly as the woman walked closer to him until he was backed up against a table.

"You have nowhere to run and it's time to die" the woman said as she leapt at the boy.

The boy felt behind him and grabbed a wooden spoon and held it in front of him and closed his eyes as as the woman got closer.

Suddenly a blood curdling scream as heard causing the boy to open his eyes and see the wooden spoon stuck in the woman's chest as blood leaked on her white dress then she began to turn to stone her hair started to fall out, the stone began to crack ad it reviled a skeleton that started to glow a orangish red color and ignited and everything turned to dust leaving a pile where the woman once stood.

The boy opened the door and started to run down the alley out of the town towards a farm where he ran though the door as he looked down at three bodies laying on the floor one was his mother who's head was missing , the other was his father who looked as if he was ripped to pieces, the last was his sister who looked as if she was breathing. He walked up to her and looked down at her with tears in his eyes.

" Samuel please run and leave this place" she said as she coughed up blood.

"No I won't leave you" the boy cried.

" I'm going to die" she said as she moved her hand from her stomach showing a huge hole reviling her insides and blood.

"No i-i won't" the boy cried.

"Go now" she yelled before something grabbed her by the leg and pulled her under the bed with a horrible scream blood splattered out from under the bed and covered the floor.

The boy got up off his knees and ran out the door and into the forest as fast as he legs would carry him.

He ran until he got to a cliff he was about to run back when a large werewolf appeared and started to approach him the boy backed up slowly until his foot was at the edge.

He stood there and thought for a quick second to himself as he looked down at the valley and back at the werewolf.

The werewolf charged and ran at the boy but the boy turned and jumped off the cliff.

Suddenly the boy hit the ground with a loud thud as his skull cracked open killing him as everything went black as the sound of the werewolf filled the airm

The boy awoke in total darkness and started look around until he saw a glowing red mist in front of him.

" Child you have died and are to be forever damned in Hell but I offer you a second Chance on one condition "
The mist said

"What must I do to live again and avoid Hell?" The boy cried

" I require someone to transfer my energy into in order to escape this plain of darkness so if you agree to be my host we will both escape and you shall be grated eternal life " the mist replyed

"Alright i accept" the boy replied.

Upon those words the mist entered the boy's body and everything went black again.

The boy awoke with a pain in his skull and put his hand to his head as he felt the wound start to close and heal.

The boy began to walk until he came across a river he looked into the water to see his hair was no longer blonde but a jet black and his blue eyes were now crimson red.

" My body has changed" the boy said as his voice echoed a demonic tone.

"It has changed but we must leave town before we are attacked again" A voice said in his head.

The boy realized it was the mist and replied " alright your right" then he walked away into the night vanishing as the town burned.
