The gun got stuck. Sam pulled the trigger almost a million times but it would still not shoot. He pointed the gun away from him and aimed at the wall. The shot rang out clear and went into the wall. He pointed the gun at himself and pulled the trigger. The gun wouldn't shoot.

Great, Sam thought. I can't kill myself.

Dean just stood their in shock. He half expected Sam to fall to the ground in a bloody mess. He definitely hadn't expected the gun to freeze on Sammy.

Dean rushed over to Sam and pulled the gun out of his hand. Sam just stood there opened mouthed. His plan had failed. He was going to see Dean die over and over again until he was just a shell of his former self.

Sammy felt a tear start leaking out of his eye. Half a second later, Sam was full-on crying. He was a sobbing mess in the floor. He would have cracked his head on the floor of Dean hadn't caught him in time.

"It's ok.  Just let it out, little brother. No one can hurt you here, with me. Your completely safe." Dean whispered to his younger brother, but the words only made Sam cry more.

"You die! Over and over and over again you die. And I can't do anything about it, except  watch it happen. I'm done Dean. Just kill me already! I deserve to die for letting that happen to you." Sam yelled in agony. He just didn't know what to do anymore.

But Dean just sat their, wide eyed. I keep dying? That makes no sense. I'm right here. Dean was going to help his stressed brother out, even if he does say nonsense about him dying over and over again.

"What do you mean, Sammy? I'm not dying or dead. What's wrong? Please tell me Sam, or I can't help you." Dean was worried, but Sam's uncontrolled sobbing made him freeze in fright.

What was happening to his Sammy? Why him? Dean knew only two things at this moment. The first is that his Sammy was broken. The second thing was that Dean was was going to fix him. No matter what.
