"Eh? Guy is still sleeping?" you inquired before stuffing bread into your mouth. It was rather surprising since that blonde was never really one to oversleep.

"I'll go wake him up," Luke said. Before he could completely rise from his chair, you held up your hand as you stood up.

"Wait! Let me do it, Luke." you said smiling slightly.

"Won't you scare him to dea-"

"Shhhh, it's fine~ He's getting over his phobia, right?" you cut him off. The redhead nodded at you hesitantly before sitting on his seat again. With that you left the group and headed towards the room where Guy was sleeping soundly.

"________ is going to shorten Guy's lifespan." you heard Anise remark before you completely went out of earshot.

As silently as you could, you entered the room and walked towards the bed where Guy was peacefully sleeping. He was sprawled all over the mattress. You couldn't help but smile as you watched him in his sleep. He looked so peaceful... And vulnerable.

Crouching down next to the bed, you studied his face. That lovely face that you'd never get tired to look at. But alas, you weren't there to just marvel over his beauty. You bit your lip as you brought your face a bit closer to his while convincing yourself that you're just doing this to give him a scare (and not anything else like getting a better look on Guy).

However, when the sleeping man moved a small shriek almost escaped your lips when you found yourself face to face with him with just a few inches separating you. You looked at him to see if he was still sleeping. When you were sure that the male was still ruled by slumber, you let out a sigh of relief.

"Guuuuy," you called him softly whilst poking his face with your index finger. "Guuuuuy,"

His face scrunched up slightly as his eyelids slowly fluttered open. His blue eyes stared back to yours for a moment. After a girly shriek (which didn't come from you), the next thing you knew was he had bolted out of the bed and already had his back pressed against the wall farthest from you. With a hand over his chest, he tried to catch his breath. You did your best not to laugh. His reactions were simply just so priceless.

"Good morning~" you greeted him nonchalantly.

"Good heavens, are you trying to kill me?"

"I'm sorry?" you replied, smiling sheepishly. Guy took deep breaths then heaved a sigh. His lips formed a small smile when his breathing had evened.

"You're really gonna be the death of me, ________," he said shaking his head fondly.

You stood up and let out a small chuckle. "I'll be sure to cry at your funeral then," you joked, winking playfully at him before exiting the room with him following you soon after. Somewhere along the way, he sped up a little to walk right beside you.

You caught Guy looking at you at the corner of your eye. "What?" you asked him, raising an eyebrow.

"Nothing," he replied easily. "I just thought that your smile brightened my morning more than the sun did."

You stopped abruptly on your tracks, feeling your heart race while a grin crept on your face. The blonde stopped walking as well and looked at you, eyeing you curiously.

"_________?"

"Y-You-!" you stuttered as you pointed at him accusingly. "I-It's too early for flirting!" With that, you stomped away to not let him see more of your blushing face. You barely heard him call your name and deny the flirting part. Soon enough, you could hear his steady footsteps as he trailed behind you.

You let the grin take over your lips as you thought, 'What a good morning this is...'
