I woke up and tried to stretch but I was restricted by a pair of strong arms. I then realized they were Carl's. In the process of trying to get out of them, I accidentally woke him up.
"Good morning Beautiful," he says.
He stretches and gets down off of my bed. I get down and grab clothes to change into in Beth's cell. I grab clothes and go to Beth's cell. I walk in and see Bethany is awake. Beth wasn't there so she must have gone to get Judith. Bethany notices me.
"What the fuck are you doing in here, Bitch?"
"I was gonna change," I reply.
I was suddenly struck in the face by her hand, hard. I ran out of her cell crying. I ran back to Carl's cell and jump on my bed. He was still in the cell and he got up onto my bed and hugged me.
"Sky, you need to tell me what's wrong," he said.
"I can't, she'll kill me," I said.
"Who?" He asked.
"Bethany."
"What did she do Beautiful?" He asked.
"She abuses me," I answered.
Carl's POV
Hearing those words come out of her mouth broke my heart. She did not deserve this. I needed to tell someone.
I walk I no my dad's cell to find him putting his gun in his holster.
"Dad?" I ask.
"Yeah, Son?" he responds.
"Can I talk to you about something?"
"Of course." he says.
"Bethany abuses Sky. She needs to go. I can't let her be in danger near her. I think I love her, Dad. I need her to be safe." I answer honestly.
"I'll tell her to pack her stuff and leave," he says.
"Thank you, Dad," I say.
I give him a quick hug and run back to Sky and I's cell. She looks like she has calmed down a bit. I decided to ask her something to get Bethany off her mind.
"Hey Sky?" I ask.
"Yeah?" she responds.
"How would you like to have a picnic in the courtyard with me?" I ask, stuttering a bit.
"I would love to. When?" she asks.
"I was thinking in about an hour." I say.
"Okay I'll meet you there," she responded with her million dollar smile.
I got it all set up just in time to see her walking out of the cell block door. She was wearing a pink crop top with an aztec cross on it and blue short shorts. She was wearing grey vans.
I had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and apple juice. The only things we could spare. Carol helped me make the sandwiches.
She walks up and sits down across from me.
I needed to get this off my chest right now.
"Sky, I have loved you since I laid eyes on you. You have an amazing personality and you light up my whole day with just one smile. I know that we have only known each other for 2 weeks but I was wondering if you'll be my girlfriend?"
She looks at me with a shocked face and then smiles.
"Yes."
We both start leaning in. Our lips crash together and it's like a million butterflies were dancing in my stomach. Forget butterflies, fireworks were going in my body.
I never you could love one person so much.
