Chapter 9:Back to work

"Welcome Back Chrissy!!"
Everyone shouted scaring the shit out of me. I didn't know half of these people and I didn't think they would care.

"Girl its about damn time, I don't know how you like that desk but I can't stand it" Jess pushed everyone out of the way to come give me a hug and complain some more about the desk.

Everyone talked about how much they've missed me, a few people thought I had died and other dramatic shit, they were making up stories. No one knew what truly happened but John, Nate, and our boss.

"Christina we're glad to have you back, I'm also grateful that everything is okay." Mr. Donavon came to me and said.

"Thank you sir, I didn't know how much I would be missed, I apologize for being away for so long."

"Nonsense you had business to take care of and I understand how important it was to you, and besides without you here its been boring no one is sarcastic and witty as you are. Jess tries to be but he just gets pepper sprayed for flirting with the patients that come in. If you don't mind me asking how's your friend doing?"

"She's my girlfriend now and she's doing fine, the only thing is she isn't allowed back to work or leave the house for the matter" which she is highly pissed about.

"Oh well congratulations to you and isn't it strange to have her on bed rest when she just woke up."

"Her mother has her on bed rest not the hospital, and majority of the time she's sleep anyway unless she's doing school work."

"Okay understandable, and will she be able to graduate on time seeing next week is the last week of school?"

"Yes sir"

"Okay well once again glad you back and everything is alright and congratulations to you" he smiled and waved walking away

"Thank you sir" I smiled back. What most people don't know is I had got permission from the school and school board to do her school work that she missed for her as long as she was in the hospital.

I don't know if its normally allowed but since she was in the hospital majority of the school year then they allowed it. The work she has left is from last and this week but I go over and help her if she gets stuck. She's smart so a lot of the time she doesn't need my help.

Doing that work again made me realize how glad I am that I graduated college even though it was last year, it was easy because she's taking a lot of the classes I took, except French I tool Spanish instead.

"Chrissy, I've missed you so much!" Nate yelled and tackled me for a hug.

"Nate you came to the hospital to visit every other day get the fuck off of me!" I was struggling to breath because he wrapped his arms so tight around my neck.

I don't know what Johnathan has done to this boy but since they started talking he's been clingy as hell.

"Johnny come get him!" I had given up trying to pry him off of me, its ridiculous how clingy he is considering he doesn't like clingy people.

"Nate again with the jumping on people. The rule is you're not allowed to jump anyone except for me, which you've been doing a lot lately." He says with a smirk, oh lord this boy is dickmatized.

"Okay well sorry to burst your bubble Kress but I'm not a guy and I don't have a dick so I would highly appreciated it if you would get off of me."

"Not until you say you've missed me"

"I just saw you two days ago Nathaniel Wilson get the fuck off, oh my god you're like a leech" after more failed attempts of getting him off Johnny saved me again.
