promises..... You broke

You promised me 'everyday you will see me'

But emptiness everywhere surrounds me

You promised me 'with me you wake up every morning'

I turn around, an empty bed is what I see.

You promised me ' this will be our last quest of loneliness'

As far as I see you're on a never ending spree.

You promised me ' I'll be with you as soon as I can'

But now I see that there is a change in your plans.

You promised me ' there will never be tears in your eyes'

I just forgot how many times to not prove you wrong, I tried.

You promised me' I will stand by you'

Just not to fall I try, to make you true.

Promises you made..... promises we hold

Don't let them be so vulnerable

at least be that bold!

Because it's not just only promises that you broke.
