It was about a 45 minute drive from my house to the listed address. As I pull up to the house I just want to die. It is so perfect and beautiful. Surprisingly it is exactly like one of my dream houses I had when I was younger. It was even on the beach! I was going to die of happiness here.

I get out of my truck and fix my top making sure I looked presentable. I walked closer to the door and saw a group of men. Great. I think to myself as I get more nervous than I already was. I knocked on the door and one of the boys stuck their heads up. I could only tell because of the clear glass door and windows.

The guy stood up and then walked over to the door, the other guys didn't seem to really notice as they all played a video game that looked like assassins creed on one T.V. and Black ops on the other. I didn't really see his face much until he came up to the door. Then I noticed him. Ryan Asher? Why does it have to be him. I should just walk away right now and never return. Hell I should change schools if he is going to be going to college with me. F*CK MEH LIFE!!! I thought to myself.

Ryan Asher was my high schools popular football athlete ( Plus track, cross country, power lifting, etc. all in varsity.) As Asher opens the door -most of the school called him by his last name, I don't  know why we just did, so that is what I am used to calling him as.- he has a small almost smirk on his face. " Hello there. What do you need?" He asked. He looked me up and down making me want to squirm but I don't as I keep my guard up, I'm only here for one thing. A temporary place to live.

" Hi," I say a little high. I clear my throat so I talk in a normal voice. " sorry, I am here for the roommate application thing." I tell him. His mouth goes in a "0" Shape as he lets me in. " Come with me all I am going to do is ask you some questions. And we will go from there. " He tells me. I nod even though he can't see it. I look at the video games and I suddenly get distracted as I watch and list all the things the guy playing could have done better in my head. I feel a tug on my arm getting me out of me trance like state. " You like video games?" He asked. " Well I played with my best friend. Other than that I don't own any sadly." I say still watching them. " Well come on. If this goes well I will let you play later." I look at him and lower my head as I try and wipe the small smile off of my face. When I look back up to him it is gone. " Okay lets go." I say. He eyes me for a moment and then turns and starts to walk. I follow behind him and when we get to the kitchen he tells me to sit in the stool as he leaned against the marble top across from me. I set my elbows on the bar top and then set my head in my hands waiting for his questions. So far he is just starring at me.

"Um.. So?" I was trying to think of something to say as I look around the kitchen. " I like you're kitchen?" I say which sounds more like a question then a statement. " You look very familiar." He says still looking at me just less intense. " Um.. Yeah I think we went to high school together." I say trying to be casual. " Oh." He says straightening up a bit. " So.. Why do you wanna live here?" He asked. I didn't even really have to think about it. " I needed a place to stay that is closer to my college and so I don't live alone." I tell him. He nods a bit then looks around as if he is thinking about the next question.

All the sudden all the boys from the living room start to yell and scream making me jump in my seat and turn to them with a hand over my chest. I was breathing a little heavier as my heart goes faster. I turn back around dropping my hand and acting like nothing happened. The guy in front of me had an apologetic look on his face. " Sorry I forgot that you where coming over today, they didn't even leave. They have just kinda been here." He says scratching the back of his head looking a little embarrassed. I smiled a bit. " Yeah I totally get that, my friends used to do that to me. So we had just moved in with each other." I say with a little bit of a laugh. He smiles too as I laugh to myself a bit remembering back to when I was about 16 and James and a couple of my other friends would stay at my house for about 4 days before they would finally leave. Unlike James. He'd stay for like two weeks. The longest he had stayed at my house was about 20 something odd days. Then we finally moved in together about a year later under certain circumstances.
