The truth was only in her memory.
If she could latch onto it and remember then every thing would fall back into place. She could get out. Yet for the time it took for her mind to clear its self up, she was stuck. The dark place of her thoughts was mostly continous silence, occasionally interrupted by vivid memerories of hers, or the others lives before they came here, before they got stuck too.
All that she had to do was keep going until she remembered the right past that she had lived. Making sure it didn't have any faults to what really had happened in her previous life and wasn't an uncomplete version of it. She could tell the difference, there was always some kink that was not what she knew in her real life.
When the true memory came, she would go and live there instead. Trying to get the others to give her the steps back from the treehouse, back to her old life, was not an option. And her giving them the secrets to their paths here, that she had seen many times, was not one either. She didn't want to help them back to their happy old lives if she couldn't her self. Plus she didn't want to be alone in this, even if it was with strange people form different times.
