Preface

Harry isnt clueless about magic in his first year, why not? Because his next door neighbours are a pureblooded family!

One

"Boy."

"BOY."

"FREAK GET UP, GET UP!"

Harry was awake.

But he greatly desired to stay in his cupboard rather then face the harsh reality of his only relatives.

Against his wishes he gave in to their demands and slowly left the dimly light cupboard and journeyed to the kitchen.

"The new neighbours are coming around in a few minutes and so you will remain in Dudley's second room. If you make a single noise, you'll pay. Greatly"

With so much emphasis on the word Greatly, Harry nodded promisingly, and turned to flee up the stairs and into Dudley's room.

It was only about 9 minutes later the doorbell rang.

Harry sat patiently, staring out of the window, he could hear muffled conversation below him and so remained still.

When he heard small footsteps race up the stairs he jolted in fear, knocking over a large tub of Lego which spilled over the floor loudly.

The next thing he knew he was stood face to face with a girl his age, wide eyed.

"Sorry... Um. Just ignore me." He managed.

"Why are you up here? Alone?"

"My cousin, Aunt and Uncle dont like people knowing I exsist, which I dont mind."

"Oh. That doesnt sound fun. Well I'm Romily, Romily Davis."

"Im Harry Potter."

She paused briefly,

"Awesome name."

"Thanks. Yours is nice too."

"Yup. Thanks. I best go. But I'll see you around right?"

"I hope."

"Bye Harry."

.

.

Later that evening Harry oddly found a small mouse in his cupboard holding a letter and a roll of odd paper and a Feather pen he thought was called a Quill or something like that.

He reached for the letter and read it slowly.

'Harry.

Dont worry about the mouse, his name is Tracker, he's trained to deliver things and what not, just tell him where and he never fails.

Anyway, since im not exactly going to be aloud round to talk as I 'dont know you exist' I thought we could write to each other, so I got Tracker to bring you some paper and stationary, reply soon.

Romily Davis.'

Harry's eyes sparkled with glee as he quickly slipped the letter under the loose piece of floorboard he stored everything in.

He grabbed the paper and quill and wrote a reply.

'Romily.

Thank you, he's a clever mouse then. I would love to keep in contact via letters.

Harry.'

He gave the mouse the scrap of paper.

"Will you take this to Romily, Tracker??" The mouse nodded and scampered off.

Clever mouse.

Tracker smirked and returned the letter to Romily before morphing into a teenage boy in the shared room of 6 Privet Drive.

"You owe me Romily." He smirked, leaving to head to his own room.

"Thanks Jasper." Romily called before turning to Tracey, her twin whom she shared the room with.

"So you really met Harry Potter?"

"Yup! You will too, remember what we get tommorow?"

"Oh. Yay." Tracey grinned with a small laugh.

"Well Cya in the morning."

Romily procceded to lay her head on the pillow, as Tracey did the same before both whispered Nox, the room went dark.

That night, Harry Potter slept happily.
