Lauren's POV.

"You ready for this?" I asked Cassidy as I looked her in her eyes. She shrugged her shoulders and nodded.

"As ready as I'll ever be, and it has to be done." I smiled and hugged her.

"Everything's gonna be fine I promise you." I said as I rubbed her back and grabbed her hand taking her in the direction of the kitchen where everyone was.

"Oh good morning Lauren sweetie... and Cassidy." Mom said making them all turn and look at us. I sighed and pulled her closer to me.

"Oh so that's where you were!" Chris yelled making Cassidy jump back and hide her face in my shirt.

"Chris sit down!" Both mom and dad yelled at him.

"Shut up you prick! Don't you dare come near her and I mean it!" I pointed at him. As he sat back down still with that glare on his face I could fell Cassidy shaking while he stared at her.

So I cleared my throat. "Uh Cassidy and I have some things to say." Taylor was looking at me as if she already knew what was going on.

"Well what is it dear?" Dad asked now they all had their full attention on us and I knew that was making Cassidy nervous so I kept my arm around her.

"Yeah and why was my girlfriend with you and not me!" Chris said I shot him a glare. I just wanted to punch him again so bad and make him shut up.

"Chris!" Dad said making him be quite.

"Well Cassidy here is sick of Chris's bullshit so we've decided that she's moving back with me." I spoke while looking at Cassidy.

Chris stood up. "No way in hell is that happening! Mom! Dad! Do you here this shit!"

"Chris sit down." Dad said sternly making Chris slowly sit.

"You stupid fuck, have no reason to be upset. Because she told me what to did to her and I should really beat your ass for it, but she doesn't want me to so I won't. But she's coming with me. We already have our bags packed and all."

"Ok well Cassidy is this what you want?" Mom asked her and Cassidy's eyes landed on me. I smiled at her letting her know it was ok.

"Y-yes ma'am it is."

"Ok then as long as it's your decision. We don't want you to feel like we are making you-"

Chris pushed up off his chair once again and walked up to me with his fist balled up. I just stood there as I pushed Cassidy behind me.

"You think you can always get what you want. But it won't go down like that this time, so go ahead take her with you but I will get her back because she belongs to me!"

I watched him as he pushed passed me and Cassidy. I could feel her shaking behind me and he just smirked as he walked upstairs.

"You ok?" I asked her and she just looked up at her with fear in her eyes. "Hey it's ok. He's not going to do anything to you anymore because I'm getting you out of this house."

I turned back to mom and dad who had started back up on a conversation.

"I don't see why you don't put him in some place." I said angrily

"What are you talking about Lauren?" Mom asked

"Some place to get him help. You know what he has done to Cassidy and is doing to her, yet you still let him walk around this house like its nothing."

"He's our son Lauren we aren't just getting rid of him because of-"

"Because what? She's not your daughter, so fucking what! She's a person with feelings and-"

"Lauren! Watch your language at your mother." I rolled my eyes and looked over at dad.

"And what about you?" I said as I pointed at him. He raised his eyebrows. "Do you have a say in any of this? Or is mom just in control." I could feel a soft hand trying to pull me back but I wasn't done yet.

"Because believe it or not you have a nasty, sick, disgusting son If that's what you want to call him and he need some type of help."

"You know what Lauren you are completely out of line I don't want to hear anything else from you right now!" Mom said as she stood up for the kitchen table.

"Actually it's time for us to go anyway." I said grabbing ahold of Cassidy's hand.

I looked at a shocked Taylor. "Come here." I said with my arms open and she rushed into them.

"I'm going to miss you jerk." She whispered.

"I'm going to miss you too ugly." I smiled as I let go of her and she went over to Cassidy.

"Don't worry cass, Lauren is going to take good care of you."

Cassidy nodded. "I hope so. Or I'll be back here." She joked but I didn't laugh.

"That's not funny Cassidy. You're never going to come back here I promise you."

"Well, take care of her, and I mean it she's too fragile to be left alone Lauren." I shook my head.

"I got it Tay." I said as we made our way out the door and to my car. With our already packed bags.

"You better or I'm going to beat your ass." I laughed and hugged her once more.

"I know you will."

"Good. Love you guys." She waved as she ran back in the house.

"Love you too." Once we got in I looked over at her.

"I hope you're ready to start your new life."

She looked down and nodded. "As ready as I'll ever be." I smiled and started up the car before pulling out the driveway.

This was going to be something great, I could already tell.
