Writing prompt: He would probably regret it, but that's what made it fun
He would probably regret it, but that's what made it fun. He grabbed Claras hand and led her outside into the storm. The rain was pouring faster than Adam could say his own name but it was still stunning outside. The couple twirled outside in the rain, ignoring the fact that they'd soon be soaking wet but that didn't matter. The raindrops shone in the light that wasn't yet covered by dark, ominous clouds.
To Adam, her laugh was music and it was his favourite song. To Clara, his eyes were grey diamonds and they were her favourite gem. They danced together so perfectly that it almost seemed like a scene from a movie. Although there was no music playing, they managed to dance like they were the only two people left on earth.
Anyone caught walking in the rain would see them dancing and clap for them, not only because of how talented they were but also because they loved each other enough that they would do anything for each other. Even their family members, who lived right next to each other, would come out and watch their beautiful children dancing in the rain.
Adam spun Clara and dipped her so carefully that it seemed beyond graceful. They had taken their bows and right before they parted ways, Adam grabbed Clara by the wrist and begged her to stay for a moment longer. He pulled a small, velvet box out of the pocket of his jacket and kneeled down. Clara gasped but it was barely audible over the rain.
"Clara Nicole Lake, I have known you for what seems like the longest time and I love you more than I have ever loved anyone. Will you please do the honour of staying with me for the rest of our days? Will you please marry me?" Clara could barely speak after hearing Adam but he knew it was a yes.
In the end, Adam didn't regret what he had done, he knew it was the best thing he had ever done.
This is kinda lame I'm sorry. Any requests for tomorrow?
