I watched as Simon pulled the matching leather stool to the centre of the room, and sat on it facing me. He rested his elbows on his knees and his hands clasped together in front of him. I tried my best to not make eye contact or look at his arm muscles. I kept my gaze down, looking at my intertwined hands.

"Delta-" Simon began, I felt my face involuntarily scrunch up again.

"Don't call me that, we're off the clock." I shot back with sudden confidence. Usually I wouldn't dare challenge Simon but so much had to change, I could tell the guys wanted change too. I saw Simons' jaw clench shut. I let out a deep sigh and shifted uncomfortably in my seat. He was seriously fucked up now, no sign of the Simon I knew at all.

"Delta I don't know what is going on with you but it has to stop. Your rash behaviour isn't good for the group and if I have to drop you from the team then I will-" As soon as he said Delta I just stopped listening. I was going back through the days trying to pinpoint the exact time Simon started to act this, acting like he was above us all. Like we were disposable to him. I guess now we were, if he wasn't pleased with us we would be let go and replaced with someone else. That's what happened to Cal(lux) after we found the other Cal(freezy) beaten up an barely breathing on one of our missions. Cal(freezy) didn't even make it the ride home, and that pushed Cal(lux) over the edge, he became sloppy and restless so Simon got rid of him and bought in Chris. Simon showed no emotion to the death of Cal(freezy), nor when he sent Cal(lux) away for good, back to London with his girlfriend Sarah.

"Are you even listening to me?!" Simon raised his voice causing me to snap out of my thoughts and face him. His blue eyes cold. I shook my head no, I was ready for his punishment. He raised his hand a slapped me with such force that it knocked me to the left of the sofa. I looked up at him with disbelief, I never thought he'd actually do it, actually hit one of his mates but here I was holding the right side of my face in shock.

"What the fuck is wrong with you! Who even are you! I don't bow down to you, you're my friend not my boss. Fuck you and fuck this. I didn't ask for any part of this, you dragged us down-" My outraged yelling was silenced by Simons' fist connecting with my face causing me to fall back to the sofa that I was sat on just a moment ago. I put my hand to my nose feeling the blood that was slowly trickling from it. Simon quickly left the room after that leaving me crumpled on the sofa in shock and confusion. He hit me. He actually hit me.

"Clean him up and take him to his room. It's late, I'll deal with him tomorrow." I heard Simon's voice again but didn't dare look up as I wasn't sure if I could control myself if I looked into his uncaring eyes. Another pair of feet appeared at the side of me as arms carefully lifted me over their shoulder and carried me past Simon and out of the living room and up to my room.

"Fighting him isn't going to make things better Josh." It was Tobi, he placed me gently on my bed and took off his jacket placing it gently on my desk chair.

"I don't know what else to do Tobi, he won't listen unless directly challenged." I sighed as I watched him walk into my bathroom and return with the first aid box that I kept under the sink.

"I get that but maybe Simon is too far gone to focus on. Maybe us and the rest of the guys need to try to make things back the way they were." Tobi said as he lightly pressed a gauze under my nose and taped it so it would catch the blood that was dripping from it.

"Without Simon?" The thought wasn't worth thinking about, I know I couldn't leave him behind while the rest of us found ourselves again.

"Maybe it's for the best, we never see him much anyway." Tobi shouted back from the bathroom as he put the medical items back in there place. "Get some sleep, no doubt Simon will want to carry this on early tomorrow when the rest of us are asleep." Tobi stated as he grabbed his jacket and headed for the door. I sighed and pulled the covers over my body and lay down.

"Goodnight Tobi."

"Night Josh, see you tomorrow." Tobi smiled slightly as he turned off my light and shut the door behind him.

If I make it till then.
