The Night

The night.

The night I got into the game. The night everything I knew before that was bright and sunny was no longer that. It was a dark abyss that I could not escape from. It was that night that the girl everyone knew as pure and innocent she was no longer there. she was the girl that was confident and a stubborn motherfucker that doesn't take no ones shit. She was the girl that every goody two shoes wants to be but don't have the balls to do it. That night determined whether I was going to stay or walk. That night changed me and everyone else around me. That night I became known as Vicki the drug dealer or Vicki the queen. Both are not rumors but a little exaggerated I, Victoria Sanchez was branded the girl friend of a drug dealer and is part of the gang called the kings. That night trailed everything that I loved at that moment was going to slip through my fingers instantly. But why describe it when I can tell you how it all started.

I stare at the clock looking anxiously, my right leg shaking up and down while everyone reads or stares at Mr. Healy while he messes with his name plate on his desk and sighs every 5 minutes. "tick. tick. tick." we only have 5 minutes of school left till summer and these last five minutes have never felt so long in my life. "tick. tick. tick." Great! make that 4 minutes. I pull out my phone and unlock to swipe through my apps till I find my twitter app and click on that one. Lets see whats on my timeline that will distract me. "PARTY TONIGHT AT THIS ADDRESS : BRAMBLETON...." great, now my phone is dead. At least we only have 1 minute left. I gather my things together getting ready to get out of this hell hole.

   Being here makes me roll my eyes 24/7 I'm surprised they aren't stuck in the back of my head. "DIINNNNNNNGGGGGG!!!" I smile and perk up instantly as I stand up and sling my bag over my shoulder. I walk through the door and I'm instantly attacked by my best friend ally. Who is jumping up in down as her short blonde hair does the same. " what is it ally that you're overly excited about that you're dying to tell me?" She grabs my bicep tightly making me wince. " did you here about the party tonight? We have to go Vicki! It would be a great start into our summer selves!" Giving me the wide eyes that i can never say no to. I sigh and look down and smirk," alright but your picking me up since I'm taking you home right now" she screams in excitement," yay! Okay I'll be around 9 to pick you up and we can spend the night at my house after! Okay?" I close my locker grabbing the rest of my things and lock my arms with hers dragging her to my car. " alright come on we got a party to prepare for!"

   We get into my car and i instantly plug my car charger into my phone and luckily it turns right back on. I plug in the aux listening to," Just let go by CLASSIXX" I drop off ally at her place. She turns to me saying," don't forget im picking you up at 9:00 maybe 9:30 depending on my hair." I laugh and nod my head and she closes the door and runs into her house. I zoom off to my place. I park the car and see dad's home I turn the ignition off and get out the car and walking inside.

  "Hey dad I'm home!" As I close the door behind me. " hey honey I'm in the kitchen." I frown in confusion walking in to the kitchen cause he is normally on the couch watching baseball. "Hey dad what you doing? Why you not watching baseball and what is that smell?" He urgently runs to the oven grabbing the mittens and takes out two things of pies from it. " I was trying to make chicken pot pie but from the looks of it I burnt it. And I'm not watch baseball because I have a date comming tonight." I smile and giggle at his attempt to cook when lord knows I cook in this house and not him or else we would be dead or getting fat off of take out. "Dad just order Chinese and rent a movie and you'll be fine." As I continue to giggle. " okay sweetie you have any plans tonight?" As he kisses my forehead. "Actually yea I was planning to go to ally's house tonight and spend the night there. Is that okay?" He smiles," yeah that's fine just make sure you tell ally I said hi when you go over there." I nod my head and run up the stairs into my room.
