Peter giggled drunkinly, stumbling through the door of Wade's apartment as the man shoved him. "Eager much?"

"Peter that's not at all what this is and you know that." Wade grabbed the boy by his upper arm, turning him to look in his eyes. There the younger saw fury, pure and raw. It was a look he hadn't ever seen on the man's face unless he was looking upon something horrid. Like the picture of the man who over looked his mutating. The look sobered the boy up and he whimpered. A pathetic sound that had a growl escaping after it at how childish it was.

Wade matched the sound, keeping his tense stare on the boy. "What the hell were you doing in there?! You could've gotten yourse-"

"What? Killed?!" Peter snapped, glaring at the man "I can hold my own, Wade. You don't need to be such an asshat about it."

"Me?! You're the one who wa-"

"Don't you dare point fingers at me!" Peter bellowed, pushing a finger to the flesh of Wade's heart. "You're the one who waltzed in there and didn't give me a chance to explain myself!"

"Maybe if you really wanted this, wanted us, you wouldn't be in situations where you had to explain."

"Maybe I don't want this! Maybe you should just stop fucking loving me so much!"

The air grew heavy and Peter felt as if he couldn't breathe. It was a struggle to remember to inhale and exhale. Every breath was a punch to the chest that sent it all right back out. If he didn't know better he'd think he was dying.

He pushed past the man in front of him, waking right out the door and slamming it behind him as the halls began to sway and bend. He kept on, the walls starting to close in on him. He sat against the wall, trying to calm his churning stomach.

The last thing he remembered seeing behind his closed eyes was the burning hatred in Wade's deep brown eyes then they were open and everything went black and white. The colors were gone. The wonderful bursts of light that had allowed him to appreciate the world fully, they were gone. There was only one explanation as to why.

Wade Wilson had really stopped loving him.
