((Gabriel's p.o.v))
I was confused.
As we all went into the next room, a lounge, I stayed standing as Amy and Marshall debreifed everyone.
"Alright. As you all have noticed, we have a few problems at and.
The first of the latter is our two new league members."
Amy waved me over.
"Everyone, this is Gabriel, or Newbie, as you guys have put it. I realise you have all briefly met him, but I'm trying to be formal, so just go with it." She earned some laughter for that.

"Next, we have Chaódis. Lyssa, could you please summon him?"
"No need, godlings."
We all spun to look at the door, where the demon was currently standing.
"Should I introduce myself, or would you like the honor?"
Amy bristled. It looks like she didn't like the demon very much.
"I really don't care. Why don't you, demon."
"Certainly you bear no hard feelings against me, Amelia?"
"Oh, not at all. Now go on, you can leave now."
The demon bowed and disappeared with a smirk, and we all turned back to the siblings.

"Now, time to explain last night. I understand that only Gabriel and I were unharmed, and I am as confused as you are. If anyone wishes to share any information or vent about what happened, go ahead."
It seems no one was keen to share straight up, but after a few moments the twins both stood.
"We were both....tortured with our weakness. It was like she-it knew what would destroy us. I was kept without air, and Corbett had no water. We were helpless."
None of us spoke. I had no clue what to do with that information, and it seemed neither did Marshall. But Amy understood.
"Anyone else?"
Lyssa stood slowly, Marshall darting forwards to help her.
"We all understand what happened to each person, but what we don't know is: why? Why did that happen? And why was I the only one who wasn't in God form? I tried to change, but my own chaos went against me. Amy," she turned to the fire-haired girl, defiance in her eyes.
"You saw the chaos matter, right? You saw it turn against me."
Amy nodded.
"And that's not all. When I was being tortured," the word was choked out, as if it was taboo.
"There was a presence, telling me to just let it go, to give up, to fade away. That thing wanted me to die."
I let loose a breath I didn't know I was holding.
These people, these heroes, they were so broken.
How are they so happy?
I stood to speak, but a sudden noise caught me off guard.
I jumped, but unsurprisingly, the rest just got up calmly and started walking into the study.
"We got another one."

I stood in the doorway, confused as ever, and finally someone noticed my cluelessness. And of course that person was Amy.
"To explain, we get an alarm if there are any magical occurrences in the area. And we've just picked up two big ones."
She turned to the group.
"Everyone gear up. Time to find our newest recruits."

As we walked down the road, 'walked' being Marshall, Lyssa and I flying, Amy shadow-jumping, and the rest running.
As I flew, a thought started nagging at the back of my mind.
"Hey, did I show up on your recruit thingy?"
Marshall turned to look at me before dodging a power pole.
"Well, not really. You never used your powers often. The LDT only picks up on power fluxes in the area."
"Yeah, ok. What does LDT stand for?"
Marshall smirked as Lyssa just rolled her eyes.
"I made it up. It stands for Legacy Detecting Thingy. I'm pretty genius, right Lyssa?"
Lyssa just rolled her eyes. Marshall seemed to enjoy messing around with her.
"You're such a nerd, Loki."
"Actually, Poseidon is. And if we're categorizing everyone, I would be the hot jock."
"More like the sarcastic prick. Try and take some things seriously, please?"
Loki grumbled a few things, ranging from "party pooper." to "why so serious?" and "loosen up Chaos!" But finally settled on:
"Just trying to lighten the mood."

They lapsed into silence, the only sounds being the flapping of their wings. They had almost arrived at the location, but Chaos' wings started drooping, and her eyes looked as if they were getting heavy.

"Dammit Chaos, I thought you said you would be fine!"
She turned to face him slowly, her descent becoming more rapid.
"I never said anything. You just jumped to the conclusion that I implied that, and we left."
"You could of said something! Let's get you on the ground before Reaper kills me for letting you out here."
He grabbed her before she could properly start falling, and I followed them down to the landing point, one block over from where the recruits were.
Once we touched down, Amy appeared.
"Everyone here? Good. Chaos? What happened to you?"
Marshall rolled his eyes.
"Miss Comatose here thought she would be okay in full form. I disagree."
"Okay then. Chaos, could you please change into half form, as the rest of us will? We can't scare the newbies off."
Lyssa nodded and saluted sarcastically.
"Can do, Captain Crazy."
They all took half form, and I followed suit.

((Lets describe their outfits, shall we? (^ω^) ))

May wore a biker jacket with spikes on the shoulders, a tank top with a Guns and Roses logo, ripped jeans and knee high biker boots. Her hair was shaved at the sides and pushed over to the right. Her skin was also a dark red, close to the aura she had when in full form. Needless to say, she looked badass.

Casey was wearing a pair of bright red yoga pants, a loose fitting orange and yellow shirt and ballet shoes. Her hair was tamed back in a loose bun. She looked like a fitness freak, minus the fitness. And her skin was orange.

Corbett was suited up in a tight fitting blue shirt with waves on it, tan jeans and a pair of high tops. He looked like a generic cool guy, laid back and unbothered. With blue skin.

Lyssa had changed into a black long-sleeved midriff shirt, some smoky leggings and a pair of thigh high boots. Her hair was braided down the middle, reaching her waist. She looked like some popular girl in high school. Her skin was still pale, which was a bit of a surprise compared to everyone else.

Marshall wore a tie dye muscle singlet, some shorts and a pair of converse. His dreadlocks were partially tied up, leaving him with the generic skater guy look. His skin was like his full form, which was like his normal body. Confusing, I know.

Amy and I looked like what we did last time, the exception being Amy wasn't wearing her hoodie. In its place was an elbow length black shirt, a white skull on the center.

"Lets go."

We started walking down the block, and the rest of the group started looking for the people.
I honestly had no clue what I was looking for, but apparently May did.

"Over there. Guy about our age, maybe a bit older, and a seven year old girl in a cat dress."
Everyone nodded, and Amy and Lyssa led the group over.
Once we were closer, I started getting dizzy and feeling better at the same time. It was like both their powers contradicted each other.

Just before Amy could speak, the guy turned and saw us. He must of known what we were, because he instantly picked up his sister and started running.
As we chased them through the streets, the little girl dropped her small rabbit toy.
Everyone else ignored it, but I felt like I should pick it up. And I did.

"Wait! We only want to talk!"
The guy turned around, a small pendant slipping out from under the edge of his shirt. Amy gasped, seeing the symbol on the cover.
"No you don't. You're trying to take my sister and me away. Well I say NO!"
His voice sent a ripple through the ground, and the league was sent flying. Except for me.
He looked shocked.
"Wha-how are you not affected? KC, what did you do?"
The little girl, KC, smiled up at him. She wriggled out of his grip and ran over to me, and I knelt down to her level.
"I think you lost your bunny."
She smiled at me and took back her toy, signing something to her brother.
"No way! I don't trust him!"
She signed some more, and the guy begrudgingly walked over.
He held out a hand, and I took it.
"Thanks for grabbing my sister's doll. I guess we can trust you. I'm Leo. This is KC, or Kaiti."
Kaiti smiled at me, and I smiled back.
"Why are you here? What's with your friends chasing me?"
I guess I was answering his questions. The others were out cold.

"Well, I'm as new as you are to this. We're the Legacies, a group of teenagers with the powers of the gods. You and your sister apparently have two gods powers, and we were chasing you to help you. I'm Gabriel. I'm an archangel. My friends are Lyssa, the goddess of chaos, Marshall, Loki the god of mischief, Amy, the Reaper of death, May, Ares the god of war, Casey, Hephaestus the god of fire and Corbett, Poseidon the god of the seas."

He took his time, identifying everyone, and then turned to his sister.
"Should we tell him?"
She nodded.
"Okay, so we already know how all this works. KC is Hestia, and I'm Aphrodite. You can leave us alone now."
KC punched him in the thigh.
"Ouch! Fine. We'll go with you guys. We don't have anywhere to go, anyway."
I was puzzled.
"Why don't you have anywhere? Don't ou have a family?"
"Nope. Parents are dead, and we lost our sister a long time ago."
"What was her name?"
"Lysandra. Lysandra Connors."
I stood there, shocked by the outcome.
But lucky for me, the league had finally woken up.
"L-Leo? Is that you?"
Leos head shot up at the voice.
"Lys? Oh my god, you're alive!"
Lyssa, or Lysandra, got up and ran over to her brother, tackling him in a massive hug.
"Lys, who are these people?"
Amy spoke for all of us.
"They-they're my family. When I pickpocketed Marshall, Kaiti and Leo were trying to get some food. We got split up. Then Marshall took me home and fixed me up. Leo, we have a home now. You can live with us!"
He looked down at Lyssa, shock and happiness clear on his face.
"I-okay. Okay Lys."
