   I run a hand through my hair and stifle a yawn. I look down at the time on the screen. 5:03AM. Damn. I’ve got to get ready for school in an hour.

   I refresh the screen without expecting much of a change. Yahoo Answers. I read through my question again.

   Question; Someone I know got attacked by some animal and now something weird’s happening?

   Okay, so someone I know got attacked by some kind of animal. I wasn’t there at the time of the attack but I was quite literally a second later. 

   There was a lot of blood and she was unconscious. I helped her to a safer area but when I clean up the blood – there was no wound. Nothing, zip – yada.

   Is there any scientific explanation for why this happened? She woke up and seemed fine.

   Then, I scroll down to look at the answers I’ve received so far.

   Maybe she had internal bleeding or her wounds had healed over/scabbed already. Or maybe because you were stressed and freaked out you imagined some of it.

   You’ve been watching too many movies. It is physically impossible for anyone to heal that quickly. The only logical explanation for this is that your friend was messing with you, probably playing a practical joke.

   I don’t bother to read anymore. I’m not looking for God funnily enough. The other answers don’t exactly help me. She’s obviously not a Vampire. That’s just ridiculous. And there’s no way that scream was fake – or the scratch across her face.

   I minimize the screen and go back to World of Warcraft. Time begins to blur as I build the perfect base for protection. I’ve already completed campaign several hundred times. I need new games.

   When I next decide to check Yahoo Answers, there’s another answer.

   IWantToBelieve333 Says; Maybe she was attacked by something that wasn’t a human? There have been cases in the past of mysterious attacks. I know that @ShadowCaster_654 said that she might have been a Vampire and you might want to laugh at that response. But what if what attacked her WAS a Vampire?    I stare at the link for a few moments. The idea that a Vampire could have attacked her is just ridiculous... and then I think about her wound. Or, lack of wound would be more appropriate. Blaming it on lack of sleep, I click the link.
