A few days later, the weather was glorious and Maddie wanted to show off her new beautiful swimsuit that was given to her by Kitty. So Maddie asked her dad to pump up the swimming pool. When he was finished, she begged her mother to fill the pool. When her mother gladly filled the pool the water started to glimmer and glitter in the sun enticing Maddie to dive straight in, which she almost did until she realised she still had her spectacular specs on. As she carefully removed her favourite accessory she heard a rustling noise from nearby, startled Maddie whipped her head in the direction of the noise. Springing to her feet, she rushed to spy through her fence, into her neighbours back garden, glimpsing a creeping hooded figure.
Instinctively, Maddie sensed he did not belong there. Strangely she felt a slight movement of her tassels. Looking down, she noticed the glimmers on her tassels glowing 'What is up with that?' she thought. Looking back to the garden, 'Something is afoot!'
