I'm so excited!! I'm going to a new school that is close to my house and Vylad, a friend of mine is going there. This is just great! I bet that Phoenix Drop High is an awesome school. And that this is going to be better than O'Khasis Prep. That's school was terrible because it was filled with jerkwads that bullied me because I was better at magic and other classes than them. They were people who were jealous because of how amazing I was in class. Hopefully, PDH is better than that excuse of a school. Beats me how they beat PDH in the sports area.

I woke up around six thirty in the morning because I was so excited to make some new friends and hopefully see Vylad again along with his older brother Garroth. It made me so ecstatic that I could hardly sleep. Even though it was a uniform dress-code school, I could wear a sweater if I wanted to. I picked a light blue sweater that had lace trim on the back. I got dressed in the uniform that I was required to wear. (the uniform is at the top)

I then slipped on my sweater and went downstairs to watch some tv. I first made myself some toast and then sat down to watch The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It's such an inspirational movie, in my opinion. As I watched Lucy, Susan, and Peter cross the river with the wolves bearing down on them, I realized it was time to get going to school. I decided to walk instead of taking the bus because it was close to my house. Who knows, maybe I would see Vylad or somebody I know? I left the door and closed it, looking around the neighborhood. I saw three people walking to school. They seemed familiar in a way but I couldn't tell. I continued to stare at them and then started to walk.

*5 minutes later*

The school looked much bigger in person than in the picture that Vylad sent me. I really started to think maybe I would get lost in here because of the size of PDH. I sat down on the edge of the fountain in the middle of the courtyard and took my book out of my bag. I read my book until the students started to crowd the yard and I couldn't concentrate on reading. I saw many faces and saw the back of somebody that I didn't want to go anywhere near this year. The pink haired, popular, bully Ivy, who was known to love watching other people suffer because of her insults. She never got in trouble for it, either!! The thought of it just made ME sick with anger.

The bell rang and everyone went inside. I followed them inside and went to registration to get my schedule. 5 minutes later, I walked away from the front to find my class. They had a map in the office of the school, but I didn't think to grab one.

I just wandered the halls a bit, but then I heard two people talking. One voice seemed slightly scared, the other I recognized as Ivy at once. The girl said, "Look, I don't want any trouble. Garroth is just my friend. I never do anything romantic with him." "Well, I heard you did, so even if you didn't do anything, STAY AWAY from him. Garroth Ro'Meave is MY boyfriend! He would never want somebody as pathetic as you!!" That moment, I knew I had to step in. "How DARE you speak to her that way?!" I said. Ivy stood there for two seconds, then turned to me, and said, " WHAT did you say to me, freshman?!" I walked up to her and said, "I said, How DARE you speak to her that way?!" She and I stared at each other for a minute. Then she smirked at me and said, "You must be new here." She shoved me to the side and then said, " I can speak to anyone in any way I want." And with that she left.

I was completely flushed with anger. But I wasn't going to lose my head on my first day because of Ivy. I turned to the girl when she said, "I can't believe you did that." "Well, I couldn't just stand around. I don't like bullies. There were a lot of them at my old school." "I know, it's just, nobody stands up for me when it comes to Ivy," she said quietly. "Ivy?" She looked at me and said, "You know her?" "Sort of," I replied. "I don't think I've seen you around here before. Did you just transfer to PDH from another school?" she asked politely. "Uh, yeah, another school. My name's Ruby and may I asked what your name is?" She looked uncertainly at me and then said, "My name is Aphmau." I smiled at her and said, "That's a very unique name, Aphmau." Aph blushed and said, "Everybody says that." She seemed embarrassed by the fact that I complemented her moments after I helped her out with Ivy.

I asked, "Since I helped you, can you help me? I can't find the class I'm looking for." Aphmau smiled at me and then said, "Sure, just let me see your schedule." She brightened up when she looked at the schedule. "You and I have all of the same classes together! We can hang out together all day," she said with a bright smile. I smiled immeadiately back at her. I looked at the clock and then said, "We should head to class now. In about five minutes, we're both going to be late." "Oh, right. Let's go!"

I hope you enjoyed this chapter. If you did, be sure to smash that like button and leave a comment if you want more. So until next time, peace out. Bye!
