Mavis POV

The Bunny that I was sniffing pulled me into a loving warm hug while snuggling his face in my neck giving me light butterfly kisses. I hugged him back confused about my feelings.

"You have no idea how long I have waited for you my little Mate" he whispered in my ear. He sounded upset and happy at the same time. "I lost hope" I was taken back when he said that. Wasn't he the guardian of Easter and hope?

I snuggled my little pink nose into his cheek giving him a light kiss "Never lose Hope my guardian" I pulled back looking deep into his Emerald green eyes. His eyes shined and twinkled with happiness and most of all, hope. He leaned his forehead on top of mine, his breath fanned my face.

"Never my little mate" He closed his eyes as he took a deep breath. "You smell so good" he murmured. If I didn't have fur he would of seen my blush. I look down at our paws linking to one another.

"What do I smell like?" I whispered shyly not making eye contact. I heard him chuckle silently as letting go of one of my paws before grabbing my chin making me look up at his beautiful emerald green eyes.

A smirk appeared on his perfect sexy far of his as he spoke "You smell like my favourite food" his eyes were darker now filled with...... I have never seen this type of emotion before it made me feel weird inside. "What's your favourite food?"

He laughed low and sexy "Why do you ask so many questions Little mate?" I blushed looking away from him again. I was about to answer until we were interrupted by a fake cough.

"I'm sorry if we are interrupting anything but we would like to introduced the others to the young beautiful rabbit you have over there" Said the guy that was fat with two tattoos, one on each arm. One saying naughty the other saying nice. He was the one. Santa Claus. North as preferred. I was checking to see if he was threat.

The half girl hummingbird flew up into my face smiling brightly. Too brightly for my taste. I hid behind The bunnies back shying away as she inched closer to me. The bunny cleared his throat gaining the hummingbird girls attention "I think she wants some time alone mate"

The hummingbird girl frowned before smiling in understanding "Yes sorry About that Bunny we will talk later though" Rage build up inside me as the girl gave the Bunny a flirtatiously smile before flying away.

Before I even knew it I growled at her flying figure in anger then purring when the bunny placed his arm around my shoulders pulling me close to his body resting his heads on top of mine.

He sigh " Would you like to go somewhere more quiet and with less-" he was cut off by Jack making a snow storm in Norths workshop, And North shouting at Jack and calling the yetis and elves to help him clean it up.

"Hospitality" The bunny finished chuckle. I nodded my head agreeing. I was never to fund of crowds and people. It was always to much for me even when I was younger. Flashbacks entered my mind from when I was little and curious, full of wonder.

I froze on the spot, I could hear Norths fading voice shouting and the Bunnies voice fading in the distance. That's when my flashback came back to me.


~FLASHBACK~

I saw my little self in a black beautiful gown with with white sparkles all over the top fading into black sparkles when it came towards to the end. My flowing black silky wavy hair was tied up by a white ribbon in a ponytail. My bright greys eyes full of wonder stared at my reflection in the mirror admiring how beautiful I looked.

I twirled around in a circle loving the way my dress twirled around me. I felt like a princess going to the royal ball waiting for my handsome prince.

I smiled in the mirror brightly twitching my little pink nose, sneezing when dust went up my nose. I sigh when I hear shouting outside my room. They were fighting. Again.

"YOU KNOW WHAT JAMES!! I AM GONNA LEAVE AND IM GOING TO TAKE MY DAUGHTER WITH ME AND NOTHING IS GOING TO STOP ME!!" Mommy shouted sounding rather angry and hurt. I heard a smack and a thump straight after it. "YOU WILL NEVER LEAVE ME MARY EVER YOU WILL LISTEN AND OBEY ME I AM YOUR KING YOUR LISTEN TO ME!" Daddy shouted to mommy.

My eyes widened in fear. Was he going to hurt mommy? No daddy would never do that would he? "James please stop Our daughter will hear" Mommy sounded like she was in pain while she whispered.

"No Mary she needs to learn what the consequences are and discipline her in a great way" I put my ear against my door to the room as I listened to their conversation as they spoke quietly. "J-James what are you doing with that? James please put that down. James? JAMES WHAT ARE YOU DOING DON'T YOU DARE GO NEAR HER!"

I heard heavy footsteps make their way towards my room. "MELAINE HIDE!" I take my ear off the bedroom door and run for my closet locking it tightly as I closed it breathing heavily. I was so scared.

What did I do? I did nothing wrong did I? Maybe he found out I spoke when no one said I could? Whatever it is daddy is really mad at me.

I heard my door open then the floor creaking as daddy took a step inside my room. My breathing got heavier and faster by the minute. I jumped when I heard mommy screaming. A bloodcurdling scream. I heard daddy laugh evilly. I wonder what is wrong with mommy? Should I check? No. But what if she needs me?

The closet door was ripped open breaking it from its hinges as I screamed in fright and fear. My daddy stood in front of me with blood on his white shirt and blue jeans. He had a vicious look on his face as he smiled at me.

"You naughty girl, how dare you speak when no one said you could" I cowered in the corner of the closet as he towered closer to me my eyes squeezed tightly closed. I was scared. No I was terrified. He was going to hurt me. He grabbed me by my hair my screams echoing through the house as he dragged me out of the closet.

He threw me on something it was hard and had blood on it but I couldn't look at it probably when my daddy was smiling evilly at me. "Look what you did you useless piece of shelac" I looked what I had landed on and screamed at the top of my lungs when I saw my mother with her eyes wide open from terror and fright. I closed my eyes as tears slowly rolled down my checks.

I have had enough. I'm going to kill him. Cause him pain. Torture him until he begged for mercy even though he wouldn't be let free. I want to hear his delightful pained bloody screams as he cried out in pain. I saw a machete in my mommy left side of her leg and ripped it out.

Blood from my mommy poured onto my beautiful dress as I cried out mourning for my mommy. I will avenger her. I will. I stood up running full speed at my daddy the machete went through his stomach hearing a crack that sounded like his spine. He froze dropping to the ground screaming in pain. That gave me the opitunityto jump on him staving him repeatedly before aiming for his face.

Goodbye Daddy. Mommy I will always love you. I have avenged you.

~ FLASHBACK ENED~

I dropped to the floor of Norths workshop as I cried helplessly hearing the voices of everyone come back to my ears. I screamed when it replayed again. Did that even happen? I don't even remember having a family or life before this one. I curled up into a ball sobbing uncontrollably. I felt someone pick me up bridal style already knowing that it was the Bunny holding me close.

I inhaled his scent slowly calming down, hiccuping when he kissed my forehead letting it rest there. His floppy ears fell onto my ears. My breathing eventually calmed and the hiccuping stopped he pulled back looking into my eyes. "What happened little mate?" I shook my head "Bad flashback" I whispered my voice cracking. He nodded in understanding.

"Did I ever tell you my name little mate?" I shook my head not wanting to hear my voice crack again. His deep low voice answered "The names Bunny or Bunnymund to others I feel close to" I smiled liking his name. I should of known his name when I was told he was a guardian of Easter and hope centuries ago. "What's yours love?" I blushed whispering "Mavirina" he cooed "Adorable" I laughed when he tickled my neck with his whiskers "But you can call me Mavis" He stopped grinning at me. " Can I call you kitten and love?" I smiled shyly nodding my head.

He smiled brightly before spinning us around while jumping. A thought struck me. It was now my turn to grin " Can I call you thumper?" He stopped twitching his nose slightly making him look so cute. "Isn't he from bambi?" I nodded smiling. He was my favourite bunny. Until of course Bunny came along.

He laughed " anything my kitten wants she gets" he kissed my temple. I smirked at him kissing his nose making a kiss fight. Oh god that sounded wrong. But I sort of liked the sound of that.
