Chpt 1.
A 12 year old girl name Hailey Torres went through many painful phases in her life. Everyone at school treated her as if she was a nobody and not even one person respected her. She would get teased and bullied day by day .
Hailey lived in an foster home only because a few years after she was born her parents passed away due to a tragic car crash. After years went by , she would say to herself how much she misses them and how painful her life has been ever since. She prays every night before bed and every morning before school starts hoping for a chance to fit in for once.
Each day Hailey arrives at school, 13 year old girl named Beatrice would bully her the most just because she's an easy target. Hailey had no strength or confidence to fight back and defend herself only because she was afraid . Beatrice would call her names such as " fat , ugly , worthless e.t.c " and the only response hailey gives back is tears as they roll down her face. Hailey would have to put up with it everyday.
As Hailey walks herself home a group of girls jumps her and takes her money or pride procession items such as a necklace her mom gave her before she died. When they took the necklace , hailey was laying flat on the floor with her nose and mouth bleeding begging them to stop. The group of girls just kept laughing and took off .. Then a boy came and helped hailey. The boy asked , " are you okay " Hailey didn't respond because her voice was in shock knowing that finally a person is helping her. But moments after hailey responded back saying " yes I'm fine " knowing that she isnt. The boy helped her up and took her to his house because he lived couple houses down. As they walk they had a conversation , the boy stated " my name is Brandon , I'm sorta new to this neighborhood .. What's your name ? " Hailey then replied by stating her name and telling him " why are you doing this " Brandon's response was "I know what you're going through , you're not the only one who gets treated like this " they finally arrived at the house .. Brandon was calling his mom to help , as soon as his mom opens the door she greets herself then helps right away because Hailey didn't have enough energy.
They both guided her to the couch and offered food or drinks , hailey then replied "yes please" very quickly because she's been starving herself for days. Brandon and his mom sat on the other couch and had a decent convo asking her where her parents were. Hailey then started to tear up but had the courage to explain. After she explained everything Brandon and his mother were in tears as well knowing how strong and independent Hailey is after going through all this pain.
Then after Hailey got enough rest she escorted herself out and thanked them for everything they've done that day. Soon as hailey gets to the foster home , the people there then asked her what happened but Hailey was to afraid to speak so she kept it to herself knowing it will hurt her a lot. She ran upstairs to her room and locked the door , she then goes to her bed and lays down crying just to let the pain out .. As she closes her eyes she then visions her parents standing there and smiling. Hailey felt as if it was real , but as she falls asleep more deeply she can hear the voice of her mother saying " you're strong , you can do it " repeatedly. Hailey clutched her fist together and believed in herself that she's capable of standing up for herself.
But she then starts having nightmares , she visions the day her parents got into a car crash and Also the day the funeral was held. It was completely hard for hailey to see her parents be cremated and have their ashes being buried. She had enough of the dream so she woke up , it was 12 at midnight . Hailey saw a shadows and rainbow lights outside her window , as she peeks through the curtain she sees something that surprises her so quickly ..
Chpt 2.
It was pitch black in Hailey's room but after realizing the lights , she then noticed a family next door was having a birthday party for their kid. Hailey always dreamt of wanting a birthday party and spending it with her parents but she knew it was too much to ask for.
Its Monday morning , Hailey then dresses up and walks to school .. She noticed something quite odd and strange for a moment. After she reached school ground Beatrice (the bully) didn't show up to pick on hailey. Hailey found it really weird and frightening because usually its an everyday routine for her. Then school hours passes by , hailey walks home and sees the group of girls who jumped her the other day. Hailey was afraid she would get hurt but after remembering what her mom had told her , she walked right passed them having straight confidence.
In her mind she felt peace and brave. She also came across Brandon the boy who helped her the other day as well. Hailey was thrilled to see him again and to thank him plenty of times only because she knew what he was capable of.
Months and months passes by and hailey was finally 13. For her birthday she wished for a lovely family to adopt her. That's all she's been wanting ever since ! Luckily her wish came true only because she stayed unique and herself without criticizing anyone even if they would tease or bully her. She stayed the same girl as the day she was born.
After coming home from school , one of Hailey's foster care taker (Ms. peach) stood at the door smiling and walking up to her for a nice warm hugging while tears coming out. Hailey then asks , " what's going on " Ms. peach then guided her to the dining room. As Hailey makes her way through the door she sees a wonderful family that awaits her , first thing Hailey says is " is this a dream ? Is this reality ? Am I really going to have a mother & a father once again ! and siblings ?! " Hailey couldnt help herself but cry with tears of joy cause she realized how much a good person you are can lead you to what you've been waiting for a long time.
She then drops her book bags and runs straight to the family , the family then introduced themselves. The Mother's name is Samantha , father's name is Robert , and the siblings names are Eva and Tia. After they greeted , it was Hailey's turn to introduce .. She started with " hi my name is hailey Torres. I'm 13 years young , a foster child and fought through many battles in life on my own. But none of that matters anymore because I have a caring family and a lovely home to spend time with"
It was a huge step for Hailey to move on to her new life , living in New York instead of Minnesota. She says her good byes to the people who took good care of her. Hailey was sad but she knew it was for the best. As she steps in the car , she takes one last look and never turned back again. Hailey's new life began at the moment.
Chpt 3.
Monday Evening , hours after hailey left her hometown for a new start in life .. She was in a car with her new family on her way to New York. On her trip there , she experienced many many exciting sites. Robert and Samantha decided to have a little educational field trip to welcome Hailey , she was quite thrilled because experiencing new things was one of Hailey's best ideas .. She's always been the type to create or learn new things in life , always dreaming about going to a high standard University and pursuing her dreams.
After experiencing multiple sites along the way , hailey has finally reached her new home. As they pull up to the house , hailey opens her door and has an amusing look upon her face .. In her mind she couldn't believe whether this was reality or not. She closed her eyes and pinched herself and waited hoping none of this goes away , she opens her eyes and sees her family smiling.. Hailey wouldn't have felt this happy in her entire life.
As she takes her steps , she looks around and notice of how huge the house was .. " this is beautifully amazing , thank you all so much for bringing me into a new world !" " you're very welcome Hailey , please call us mom and dad(: .. And also if you don't mind you're now apart of the Chavez family . Welcome Hailey Torres Chavez ! " Dad Stated . The maid escorts her to her bedroom , the moment hailey walked inside she viewed everything surrounding her. A indoor fountain , a butler , maids , workers and a dog.
