Chapter 5

Gina's P.O.V

"You heard her give her back her bag!" I thought again for the millionth time today.
Why can't I get that voice off my head?
"Gina would you mind answering number 19 for us?" My math teacher said to me "Unless you weren't paying attention..." A bunch of students start to snicker probably thinking I don't know the answer. I'll show you....
I look at the question and quickly solve it in my mind. "x=21" I answer quietly while looking at my hands. "Correct." He said grumpily probably because he think he would have gotten me.
"You must me new." I remember Skyler saying that.
Is he really new? I mean I never seen him and he did help me when everyone else obviously wouldn't...
*ring* I pack my things getting ready for lunch. What grade is he? I suddenly thought as I walk trough the hallways to the field.
Yes unlike normal students I don't go to a café or eat at the cafeteria because I know I'll get bully there and that no one wants me there so I go to the field instead. There's less people there and I can quietly read there.
"Hey babe." I heard Skyler say as I walk through the suppose to be empty hallway, but I unlike usual I didn't ignore it.... Something in me made my go to the corner to check if everything is all right and what's going on.
What I saw broke me for so odd reason. There in the hallway was Skyler with her hands all over the guy that save me earlier. I don't know why it hurts me that he wasn't pushing her but I did.
Standing up I walk to my usual spot in the field. Under a tree that's in the corner next to the gates that cover the entire school.Sitting, I start to read a new book I bought just yesterday.
"Hi! Are you Gina?" I heard a voice suddenly ask as I was getting to the good part in my book. I look up to see a pretty girl. She had emerald eyes and straight brown hair.
She must be new. I thought knowing I that no one would talk to me if they go to this school. "Yes I am. May I ask who's asking?" I answer trying to to be to mean. "Ohhh,yah,sorry I'm Zoe Smit transfer with a friends of mine named Chris."
As she said Chris my heart flutter and my stomach did moves but I still don't know why. So I did what anyone would do run to the restroom thinking I'm sick.
