The next day I was thrilled to get a text from Annie who was inviting me to her party. I was very excited, I would get to see my friends!
"You can take me, right?" I asked my mom.
"Of course!" My mom smiled.
The party was three days from then, on Friday. Was I going to be able to wait that long? I guess I had to.
"So, what are your plans for the rest of the week?" Mom asked.
"We'll see," I answered. Mom always had to plan things. Most likely I was just going to hang out in my room and text and write my Wattpad book.
"Chloe?" Dad called me from the other room.
"Coming," I headed towards the livingroom.
"I think we should start taking walks together," He suggested.
I was surprised because this was very
unusual, but I agreed willingly.

Teen FictionI spent it the same way I always do - alone. I have friends, but not that many. It dosn't help matters that reading a good book is more interesting to me than going to a party.
