First Date !

My POV

Today was the day. The day I go on my first date with the handsome Barnes. It was amazimg how it's been 6 days I've been here and I already have a boyfriend seems a bit weird but I don't mind. It's 8:00 when the soldiers have their dinner. I walk to the cabin ir as Kernal calls it the mess hall I see Phillips inside talking to a sargent and when I walk in I see Bucky with Doughan oh god those two are something else. One is a trouble maker and the other is a handsome trouble maker but Doughan is good he kept our secret in fact he helped Bucky have courage and ask me out so I guess I owe him. So it was becomimg late and it was after dinner. Everyone will be asleep soon and that will be whem Bucky will knock on my door and take me to our date. My thoughts were inturupted by someone knocking on the door to my cabin. I walk over to the door and open it revealing Bucky in a nice shirt and pants and nice boots. (Basically his normal army pants and boots and a shirt he packed.)

"Hey doll you look amazing," he said.

I couldn't disagree I took my time puttimg together this outfit. A blue dress and black short, ankle boots amd my hair lossely curled.

"Thanks Bucky not too bad yourself," I say.

"You ready," he asks holding his arm out.

I nod and hold his arm as we sneak out behind my cabin and go to a spot in the woods. When we stop I look and see a small picnic area with a small basket with a bit of food.

"Bucky this is amazing how did you get all this food though?" I ask.

"I got it from lunch and dinner and stored it, the bread is from lunch the baked stuff and goodies are from dinner," he says smirking.

"I love it," I say.

He takes me over to the blanket and we sit down next to eachother and he reaches into the basket and pulls out 2 plates and gives one to me. He reaches into the basket again and pulls out some bread and a plate of potatoes and some corn. (If you don't like corn then choose which vegetable you want.). I get some potatoes and corn and reach for bread as he gets him some food for himself.

"This is really good Barnes you did well," I say.

"Thanks doll I wanted you to enjoy this," he says smiling.

For the whole time eating we were just laughing about things and talking about the war.

"Remember that time when Dughan had a crush on the nurse and he tried to impress her but failed," Bucky says as I start giggling.

"Ya he was trying so hard and he almost had it if he didn't say he wasn't a fan of music and only liked beer then he could have been with her," I say as Bucky nods.

Time skip to after the date.

Bucky's POV

I took y/n back to her cabin. When we got to the door she turned to me and blushed.

"I had fun Buck," she says smiling.

"I did too doll, maybe after this hell is over we can go on another date?" I ask hopeful she will say yes.

"Yea and also no cussing Buck your in the army be a good boy," she says as she starts laughing I chuckle and roll my eyes.

"Very funny l/n," I laugh rolling my eyes.

"That's major sargeant to you Barnes," she says almost breaking into a fit of laughter.

"Yes ma'am," I say saluting her.

That was all it took we both bursted out laughing. After that we look at eachother and it feels like we are the only ones in the world then without thinking I smash my lips into her and she feels tense but then she relaxes and puts her hands around my neck as I wrap my arms around her waist and it feels like fireworks.

"Night Bucky," she says as she pulls away and opens her door.

"Goodnight y/n," I say as I kiss her cheek before leaving to go to my cabin for a peaceful sleep.

I get to my cabin as I get onto my cot and smile as I drift off to sleep.
