That Damn Ball Pit

I just got out of class and it was raining. What a great start to my graduation. My best friend, April Johnson, wanted to have a party to celebrate, so she told me to get some streamers and shit. Well i was checking out i saw someone i had been avoiding for months, April's ex Steven, i may have pissed him off a while ago and if he saw me i was dead. Well since i was in a mall this party supplies store was connected to an arcade. I checked out and as i walked out Steven saw me and i knew i was fucked so i ran to the arcade and jumped in the ball pit. You see i had stolen $65 from Steven 1.Because he's dick 2.He fucked some girl at my house during a party and left his wallet. Now Steven is a quarterback and he's a scary dude so naturally i hid from him but maybe the ball pit of an arcade wasn't the best idea. Anyway i jump into the ball pit and i'm hiding by this point i've been in the ball pit for at least 15 minutes.

Suddenly i hear this guy say "so who are you hiding from?"

I freaked the fuck out. So i said "Umm who the fuck are you?"

"Jackson Garect at your service strange, cute girl in the ball pit."

"Okay..."

"So, who you hiding from?"

"Why should I tell you?"

"Because you're interested in the strange boy named Jackson Garect talking to you in the ball pit we're hiding in."

"You're hiding too?"

"Yes cerritos, are you ever gonna tell me who you're hiding from?"

"I'm hiding from my friend's ex."

"Ahhh yes the 'OH FUCK NO IT'S HIM, I BETTER RUN' hiding technique."

"Haha yeah who are you hiding from?"

"My boss is trying to fire me and i don't have the effort to put up with that shit."

"Do you want to come to a party tonight? Even though I don't know you, you seem like a hell of a time." What the fuck am i doing i just invited an exceptionally hot stranger to a party.

"I would love to go this party you speak of, as long as you're there I'm in."

"Great. I'll text you the address."

"You do realize you just invited a strange boy you met in a ball pit to a party?'

"Eh it'll be an amazing story in a year or two after we've forgotten each other."

"Um no bitch."

"Excuse me."

"We're gonna be best fucking friends and we'll spend our time getting in trouble and probably almost dying all the time."

"You really think that's gonna happen?"

"Yup, and if anything i'll get to tell people i met a hot girl in a ball pit while trying to not get fired."

"Sounds like a plan."

"I'll see you tonight."

    This is the part where Jackson does his signature wink and i leave the ball pit smiling, and i wasn't even high. Even 2 years later i'm still shocked any of that happened.
