Valentina’s POV.

The week passed by and it was the weekend today. It was a Saturday night and me and my friends had decided to go to a club. Me, Allison reluctantly, Lara and Ethan and we were going to be joined by Ethan’s friend Jack and Dave.

I knew Jack was interested in me the same way Dave was interested in Allison, but I was not, I had a crush on the sexy body guard who didn’t even feel the same.

Unrequited love really is a pain in the ass. Same way Allison wasn’t interested in Dave, she had an interest in Adrian it seemed. Maybe it was the green eyed monster of jealousy inside me but Adrian always had a smile when Allison talked to her and she doesn’t stop talking about him once the subject is broached.

Not romantically I think but more like a friendly way, like how good looking he is and how serious he always is and on and on. She has a crush on him too it seemed and if she confirms it than I might as well try to put them together, if my best friend is happy than I am happy.

Right.

But these thoughts are jumbled by my feeling of jealousy and will I be able to handle it. I didn’t know how I will feel about Adrian and some other girl even Allison so it would be best not to think about it. But if Allison, my best friend since kindergarten is interested in him than I will help her.

It was night right now and Allison and I were getting ready to go out when Lara came in our room smiling her evil smile.

“Girls I am here to make you look even more beautiful than you are” she paused and looked at the clothes we had picked out and snorted “No way, I am picking your clothes for tonight, you are going to a club not a art exhibit, wear something provocative” and saying that she dived in my closet, as Allison and I have the same dress size we share a lot of our clothes, Lara is a little on the shorter side so she can only borrow our purses.

She took out a short black dress for me and another one in blue for Allison. Mine was short and tight while Allison was short and frilly. I opened my mouth to object but the steely glare in Lara eyes were enough for both Allison and Ito know that we won’t be getting our way tonight. I sulked at the length and wore it. She looked at us with a proud smile and said “Lara you are a genius”.

She beamed at us “Jack and Dave will not stop watching you” she squealed and I could just sigh in reply. She is always doing this, trying to fix us up. It was she who introduced me to Alex and look how that turned out.
