10, What Next

Bryer's POV

I had my back against the wall with Emre's head in my lap while Phoenix and I tried to think of a way out of here.

Emre was healing very slowly because of the bull shit amount of Wolf's bane he was injected with. I couldn't help but feel a little concerned for him. We agreed that what ever plan of escape we came up with would have to wait until he's healed.

None of us three have contact with our wolves and we are still kind of weak.

There's is no real determining what time it is or how long we've been down here because there are no windows. Only torches for light.

After wasting away for what felt like a couple of days with barely any food or water, Emre woke up. He looked better. Less cuts. His bruises have faded.

I turned around and pulled out the loaf of bread and water I saved him.

As he ate, he had a small smile on his face.

"What are you so smiley about." I said and then giggled a little.

He just laughed and said," I'm just glad to see your okay," before he crashed his lips to mine.

He kissed sweetly and I followed his every move. My arms wrapping around his neck and his around my waist.

Phoenix began to fake gag and said," ew!!! Keep your make out sessions for your own time."

I just laughed and said," your just jealous."

This was the night we all decided to put our plan into action. Accept one small, tiny, minor, itty bitty, change to the plan. Not only were we going to bust our selves out of here. We were going to bust all the other wolves being held captive out.

Phoenix volunteered for the first part because it involved being purposely obnoxious.

We all know that if you mess with Phoenix, there will be hell to pay.

She started yelling,"guards! Hey buddy come here I gotta pee! Or keep walking that works too. Rude! Somebody take me to the damn bathroom." Finally some answered her. There was only a slight problem.

When Phoenix looked at the guy, he said something I really didn't want to here. 'Mate.'

The guy introduced himself as Anthony.

Then I got an idea that this Anthony guy might just be able to help us out.

As I told Emre the plan and Phoenix and Anthony talked a little bit, Emre hesitantly agreed.

After I got Phoenix's attention, I told her. She played along because I promised it wouldn't get Anthony hurt.

She winked at Anthony and asked him if he could get her out of this hell hole. He looked around for other guards and got out his keys.

Just as Anthony unlocked the door, Phoenix gave him an apologetic look and pushed the door open. Emre and I ran out while she stayed behind with Anthony. I wasn't really OK with leaving her there. But hopefully her mate did a good job of protecting her.

We took his keys and found some more wolves in a cell. As we were letting them out, guards came around the corner. In the middle of the guards stood none other then the vampire, who's name I found out was Darius. A little old fashioned i think. But that is not the problem at hand.

The vampire glared daggers at me. He spoke up and said," I knew you would end up being the trouble maker.

Darius smerked and said," that is exactly why I brought your mate with us. For bate." I growled at that last comment.

Just as on of the guards raised a cross bow with a silver tip arrow, they released it heading strait for Emre.

I did the first thing any person in love would do. I jumped in front of him.

Just as the arrow Pierced my chest I fell back only for some one to catch me.

As I look up I can see that it's Emre. He put his head in the crook of my neck and kissed the mates mark trying to calm himself down.

I kissed him one last time before I heard Darius chuckling and Phoenix scream.

Then I looked at Emre just as darkness clouded my vision and I let it over take me. I went to sleep to never awake again.

But it was my first book and I thought it needed a little twist ending. Thank you for spending your time reading my book.
