Chapter 1

*Diana as Celine Polenghi. The girl in the group called sweet suspense on X factor USA*

Diana's POV

"Hey Diana. Print 20 of this sets for me." Jill said. I nodded. I grabbed the papers and went to the printer.

"Hey baby girl." Someone from behind said and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Hey lukey. Maybe you should try not to be so sneaky next time." I said.

He chuckled. "Lemme guess. Jill ordered you again?" He asked.

"What can I say?" I said.

"Right. Wanna go somewhere after work?" He asked.

"Depends if I have work to do." I said.

He plants his lips on mine. "Please?" He asked. I shook my head. "Sorry lukey poo. It depends if I have work." I pouted.

"Ok. I'll pick you up after work?" He said.

I nodded.

"Hey lovebirds." Jill said. "Luke go back to work before I tell boss that your slacking." She said.

Jill had always been jealous because I was dating Luke. There a lot of cute guys in this office. I mean, some of them are, but none can compare to Luke.

"I'll make you leave Luke one day." Jill

said.

I sighed.

Well, that is life for Diana Hood. "There's a meeting later at 3." Leah said. "Thanks Le." I said.

"Welcome Di." She said.

Just to start it off, I am Diana hood. I work as a reporter. Not paparazzi. It's um, news. I don't report the news. I interview people. Yuh know, like Caroline flack?

Yeah. I do, do some interviews WITH one direction. They're all very nice lads. I am friends with 5 seconds of summer. Calum hood is my brother.

It was really nice when I first met 5 Seconds Of Summer in high school. Of course I attended high school with my brother. I am a year younger than him.

"Diana!" Boss called. "Yeah?" "An interview with Katy perry at 2." Boss said. "But I have a meeting at-" I got cut off. "Jill will take your place." She said.

I nodded. "Jill never gets to interview celebrities huh." Brook said. I chuckled. "Yeah." "I kinda pity her." I said.

"Jills's a bitch! She might steal your boyfriend anytime!" Brook said. "If she wants it like that, I can't do anything either." I said shrugging.

"That's why your a great person to hang with." Brook said swinging her arm over my neck. I chuckled.

"Hey hey hey. Don't touch my girlfriend." Luke said. "What you gon do about it?" Brook said in a teasing way. "I will slam your head." He said.

"Chill man." Brook said. "I'm kidding." He said. "Don't play like that bro. I don't want my neck on the ground." She joked.

I hit his chest. "Don't be mean to Brook. What if her boyfriend's gonna go after you?" I said. "I'm not scared. I'd do anything to protect you." He said.

"Why are we on this topic?" I said.

"Brook started it!" Luke said. "Hey! Don't blame on my bestie." I said hugging her.

He chuckled.

"Time passes so slow." Luke said and pouted. I laughed. "We still have 3 hours more to go." I said and pecked him.

He pouted. "Go back to your seat." I said pushing him playfully. "It's just right across yours." He said.

"Diana. There's a letter for you." My boss said.

"Really?" I said and took it.

I tore open the letter.

'Congratulations, Diana Hood.

Your being accepted into Boston university!'

And blah blah blah I couldn't be bothered to read as my heart tore apart. I didn't want to leave Sydney. I fell on the chair.

"What happen? What does it say?" Luke said grabbing the letter from my hands.

"That's great!" Luke said hugging me.

My eyes got watery. "I don't want to leave Sydney." I said. "It's ok babe. It's ok." He said. I wrap my arms around him.

The only thing that made me wonder.. Why didn't they send the letter to my place?
