Vernon, California is the smallest town you can possible think of to live in. It's a town where everybody knows about everything and everyone. Let's just say there are no secrets. Mom loves it here, but me not so much. I feel like I belong somewhere else. I always have and always will. I feel different then most of the people around town. I really don't fit in here and I really don't care. Don't get me wrong it's beautiful here but I feel like, I don't know, it's just not me. I always tell mom when I'm 18 I want to leave, I wAnt to go somewhere exciting like New York or Florida. She thinks I'm overdramatic, but I'm serious. I want to leave, be free and adventurous. There's nothing I can do except wait. In that time the only escape I have is my room, music, and the woods out back. It works............for now.
