Alex's Pov.
I knew I would eventually break, and go to Louis Freeman's party.
Not because I wanted to, but because nobody wants to stay at home and listen to their Parents shouting at each other so loudly that you could probably hear it from the other end of the street!
Nobody wants be alone and un-wanted every day and every night.
So when you get the chance to let off some steam, take it from me, you accept it.
I looked myself over in my full length mirror.
I was wearing a tight strapless black dress that hugged my curves to perfection and showed off my long tanned legs.
My feet were clad with black five inch pumps and my hair was curled, but it had a sort of ruffled look to it.
I looked nice.
I sighed and grabbed my phone, some chewing gum and my house keys, before slowly creeping down the stairs and leaving the house un-noticed.
I walked a few blocks down the road, before opening my purse and taking out my phone.
I dialled the number that I was looking for, and waited for her to pick.
"Hello?" Ash said lazily on the third ring, I could hear the engine of her car starting up, so I presumed that she was going to the party too.
"Ash? Can you come pick me up?" I pleaded, waiting for her to reply.
"Yeah course!" She said happily. "I'll be there in five, Lex."
"Oh my God thank you!" I smiled, even though she couldn't see me, and ended the call.
I waited around three minutes, before her shiny blue Camaro came into view.
"Hop in, hot stuff." Ash winked, as I got into the passenger seat of her car.
"You don't look too bad yourself!" I teased.
Ash looked amazing though, which was nothing new, Ash always looked amazing!
Her long blond hair was straightened to perfection, framing her face just right.
And she was wearing a dark blue Spaghetti strap dress that reached down to just above the knee.
She was probably going for the natural look as she just had some lip gloss and mascara on.
She smiled and sped down the road.
Louis Freeman's house was around ten minutes away from my house, by car.
His Parents were absolutely minted, and on a business trip for a whole two weeks, I hear.
So he would probably be throwing parties for the majority of the time that they would be away.
"-missed you." Ash finished, looking at me.
I guess I hadn't been listening because I only caught half of her sentence.
"What?" I asked.
"Jordan's missed you." She repeated.
Jordan was Jace Anderson's twin brother. Even with what had happened between us, he hadn't developed a grudge on me, unlike Jace, who I knew hated my guts.
"I missed him aswell." I nodded. "How's Jace been?'
Asking about Jace was really hard for me, a part of me still really cared about him, but there was another part that knew it was useless.
I had to hate him too.
"Alright," She said casually, though her grip tightened on the steering wheel. "We're going out."
My heart sank as soon as she said that, but I tried my hardest to not let it show.
"Oh." I said. "That's great."
I tried to smile, but I couldn't.
I looked out of the window, inwardly arguing with myself.
Why do you still care about him? I asked my stupid brain. He's clearly moved on, with someone much better and prettier than you.
I don't why I felt sad, to be honest.
It was bound to happen, he wouldn't reamain single for two years, not Jace.
Jordan might have, but not Jace.
"Alex, we're here." Ashley announced a few minutes later.
I nodded and got out of the car, plastering a fake smile onto my face.
I walkes confidently into Louis' house, but as soonas I walked in, everything stopped.
The music, the talking, even the making out!
Until I screamed,
"Let's fucking get this party started people!"
Everyone cheered and continued to do what they were previously doing before I came in.
I looked around for Ash, but it looked like I had lost her.
I sighed, well I guess I'll take my own advice and start partying.
Jace's Pov (YAY!)
As soon as she walked in, everything stopped.
Even my breathing!
She looked at everyone with an emotionless face before she smiled and screamed,
"Let's fucking get this party started people!"
She didn't seem to notice me, which made me feel good and bad.
"Hey, dude Lex is back, let's go talk to her!" Louis said, starting to move towards Alex, but I quickly grabbed his arm in a vice-like grip.
"I hate her, remember?" I growled.
"Fine dude!" Louis shrugged. "But, I'm going! The new Lexi is hotter than before!"
"I said, leave her!" I growled again, this time through gritted teeth.
If Louis went to talk to Alex, he'd flirt with her, their flirting would lead to drinking and finally, their drinking would lead to sex.
And if Louis had sex with Alex, I wouldn't let him live past his seventeenth birthday, which conveniently, was tommorow.
"OK, OK, just chill," Louis rolled his eyes. "For someone who says he hates Alex so much, you sure don't like if any other boy comes within a meter of her."
"Louis that's bullshit." I muttered.
"Then why are you glaring at Blake then? Oh yeah! His arm is wrapped around Lex's waist." Louis said smugly.
I rolled my eyes.
"Stop being silly," I hissed, reluctantly taking my eyes off of Alex and that soon to be in hospital, Blake. "Come on, I need to get drunk."
