early life

Anne Marie was born to Owen and Priscilla, who married early and lived in a hippie community in Caldecott County, Mississippi. Her mother disappeared shortly after, but the commune's failed to reach Far Banks, the land where dreams are real.

Her aunt Carrie took care of her, but when she was a teenager she ran away. This also earned the nickname she would be known as since then; Rogue.

At some point of her life she met a boy and she developed a crush on him, resulting on Rogue kissing him. Her powers, to absorb the life energy and psyche of others with skin-to-skin, left Cody Robbins in a coma he would not awaken.

Rogue was traumatized by this experience, and she wore body-concealing clothes to prevent hurting someone again. She wasn't able to control her powers at first, usually retaining the memories of the people she accidentally touched.
