Bryce sighed as he stacked probably the third hundredth book of the day, and it was on noon. He looked around the library at everyone reading. The he saw her.

Her brown hair was tucked neatly into a ponytail, not a single strand out of place. She wore a blue shirt with a floral print. Her nails were a bright yellow with little bees on them.

He couldn't see her face though. Mainly because it was in a book. The Outsiders was in her hands, covering her face. Bryce took a deep breath before walking around with his cart, trying to act normal. When he got to a spot next to her he looked at her face.

Some would describe it as plain, just an average person. Bryce wasn't that some. He saw lips just a shade lighter than salmon, eyes brown like the leather binding of a book, her nose was rounded and covered in freckles she tried to hide with makeup.

She was beautiful to him, but if you asked the girl she would say she was ugly or hideous. Like almost every girl in society.

But he saw her differently, he saw the small smile the appeared on her face as she read. He saw her try to mimic the faces described. He saw her glance up at him and wave.

Bryce felt his face turn red as he realized he had been staring. He waved back and smiled. He took a deep breath and walked over. He sat down across from her and smiled.

" Hi "

** Ahhhhhh I don't know how I feel about this one. What do you guys think? Do I need to make this longer? I'm open to suggestions. **
