Dan Howell was bracing for the inevitable moment to make this final video. It was the video that would end DanandPhilGAMES...forever. There was no need to continue this YouTube channel if Phil was gone, and plus, a video hadn't been uploaded for 2 months. It was time. He took a deep breath, finally pressing record.

"Hello DanandPhilGAMErs..I guess. We never really did come up with a particular name to call you guys, didn't we?" The statement made Dan smile. "Well-anyway-I'm making this video to officially complete DanandPhilGAMES. It was wonderful to have this opportunity. Phil and I had some fun times together-." He blanked abruptly and considered doing another take, but he decided to pull through it.

"Um, I wanted to make this video without getting emotional but-I can't. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Phil. I'm sorry for what happened to you. You were a great person and a terrific friend, even though you drove me crazy sometimes."

Dan chuckled slightly and took another pause, yet this time it was longer. He turned his face from the camera, trying to contain himself. He was trying to be happy for the viewers, trying to be strong, but his inner depression was beginning to rise to the surface of his utmost being.

"I feel like your life should've been longer. Man, you had so much potential. Your fans adored you. You spread hope and love to everyone you met. I-I remember a novel we both read: The Fault In Our Stars. Towards the end, Hazel thanked Augustus for their little infinity they shared together. Phil and I were never a couple, and we never planned on it, but our friendship will always be an infinity within the numbered days to me...and for that...I am eternally grateful."

He released a sob, not being able to compose himself anymore.

"I loved you beyond words. It seems strange admitting that, but I can't say it any other way. I wish you were here. I wish I could see you one last time so I could say goodbye. I feel...empty. You were the one person who I could tell everything to who would never judge. You always tried to help me feel better and live my life in the most amazing way possible. And best of all, you never left. Ever. So Phil, thank you...for everything. Even if the whole world forgets about you and your channel, I won't ever forget you as long as I live, and that's a promise. To the phandom, I hope our previous videos will give you joy about what Phil and I once were, and what we always will be: two online weirdos who made an entire world. Bye everyone...and Goodbye Phil."
