Sam's pov

As I walk down the wall towards the cafeteria people started staring. I bet it has something to do with my encounter with the golden boys.

"Isn't that Stacey's ugly stepsister? I heard she flirted with Alec today and he totally blew her of." same fake barbie tells her minions.

Sam calm down and just ignore the rumours.You can get threw it, you've done it for the past 8 years . You're a worrier!
Not even my famous pep talk could lift this feeling of judgement off my shoulder.

"Ugly duck come here!" Stacey tells me when I entered the cafeteria. It's like she was born to destroy my life.

"What's this I hear about you talking to Alec. Didn't I mention his name in the list of people not to talk to!"She said in the loudest way possible.

By now everyone is staring at us.I just hope Damian and his crew doesn't show up and make this more embarrassing than it already is.

"Don't you dare talk to her like that if you know what's good for you!" I can't believe someone is actually standing up for me and making Stacey look like a total bitch.

I turned around to see who my hero was and got the shock of my life.Damian actualky stood up for me! The baddest kid in school and he's probably in a mafia to.

"Thank you" I mumbked to him."It's okay shortcake, just remember you owe me." Damian said and winked at me.

By now everyone is staring more and intensely at me.How could Damian one of the school's golden boys defend a nobody like me.

As I take my seat my friends gave me the death glare."What the hell happened today Sam?" my best friend Clare practically yelled."First you got cornerd with the 3 hottest guys in school, Stacey scolded you in front of the whole school and the almighty Damian saved your ass!" Clare practicly told the whole student body.

"I guess I'm cursed, and please talk softer everyone is staring.I swear I don't want more attention than I already got today."I told her while giving her one of my death stares.

"Sammy are you okay?" Jenny asked me."It must have been nerve wrecking for you! You don't deserve to go threw the things Stacey puts you threw."Carlo said giving me one of his concerned looks.

"I'm so blessed to have wonderful friends like Carlo and Jenna, don't you think so Clare? Their loving and actually cares about me and my feelings."I said to Clare and she just rolled her eyes.

Alec and Joe came in the cafeteria and all eyes were glued to them to see their every move. Joe saw me and came rushing towards our table Alec went to sit with the populars and started chatting with Damian but then Stacey interrupted them and ended up on his lap and infected his mouth with her germs.

"Sammy I hope you didn't get into much trouble." Joe said with a worried look."No, I didn't.The teacher was late so I made it in time.Thank you for checking up on me but I don't want to ruin your reputation. That is what will happen if you go on talking to me."I said looking down.

"I don't care about my reputation care bear.I actually want to be your friend, so stop pushing me away." He said and I couldn't help but smile and blush."You're cute when you blush, but I have to bounce Damian is giving me the death glares." Joe said and literally made my day.

"If it is as bad as Sam's death glares you should have gone already. " Clare interrupted my moment with Joe. On that note he left the scenery.

"He is so into you care bear." Carlo said making me laugh."Firstly,only Joe can call me that.Secondly,he does not like me." I said making sure they understand clearly.

"Sure Sam,that is why he has a pet name for you.Telling you that you're cute and came to check if you were okay.You are so in the friend zone." Jenny said sarcastically.

"I'm glad you finally understand. " I told them with a wide grin.
