Fireworks, they are so bright and beautiful and colorful; loud but stunning and breathtaking,
but they end to quickly and leave behind smoke and an awful smell,
they slowly kill the earth we live on, they never last,
but they last long enough to leave an imprint, on the sky, our minds and everything around us, they give us light for a short time,
Is that how everything is going to be in the world?
Just a brief firework, a flicker of hope, light, peace and beauty before darkness, before ruin?
But like fireworks we should enjoy the beauty while it lasts because it ends so quickly and you never know when you would get to see them again.
Crying about the past doesn't change the past; it just wrecks the future.
So enjoy the fireworks of your life because they never last long but they are so beautiful,
Don't cry about the past because it's set in stone, but the future isn't,
so let go of the past and hold on to the future and what it will bring,
because you really do only live once, so don't let your one chance be full of the regrets and the mistakes of the past.
