"The first day of college is always the hardest. " Emma told me.
" How hard could it be? I got through high-school"! I told her.
I could be worse. It could be taking-care-off-kids-day-1.
"You're gonna make new friends!" She tells me
"You're such a liar. That our you don't know me!" I laugh.
"You're new friendscould help you with home-work! "
Yeah, right! I think.
"Oh, just get out of my house already! "She yells
We both laugh.
I hand Emma the baby and i leave; i here her leading the baby in prayer, and i smile.

I walk into the classroom, and gaze around the empty room. I couldn't move into the dorm, because of Molly-Kate,the baby.
I take a second to memorize the room, everything in it, around it, outside it, and when the people came in, i started to guess names and ages. Attitudes, physique, style, i sifted through them, decoding who to make friends with.
An hour later i was zoned out. Watching all the other pupils, deciphering them, remembering their names, and how they talked, and. .......
I look up. Professor Macsbee was looking straight at me. He asked me a question when i want paying attention. I tried to remember what he was talking about earlier.
"What is the ratio of infection to disease? " Pro.Macsbee asked.
I looked at the board, and answered"Forty-nine percent to Fifty-one percent"
"Are you sure? "
"I,uh....yes? "
He hesitated, and glared at me."Correct, Ms. Hoffman"
I had survived the first bomb.
