The first person by Arielle's side was Cedric due to his fast broom, he was kneeling on the ground next to her. Next was Fred and George, followed by Harry and Madam Hooch. Cedric had taken her hand with his shaking ones and checked her pulse to make sure it was still there, it was, thankfully. He sighed in relief, "She's alive."
He and George both took one of her arms and put them around their shoulders. Madam Pomfery came rushing to them, "Okay boys, follow me, follow me, she needs to get to the hospital wing!"
Cedric and George walked quickly to the castle, when they got into the hospital wing they sat Arielle's limp body onto the bed. Cedric sat down in a chair shaking, he put his head in his hands, he was trembling, "It's my fault... It's my fault she's hurt..."
George snapped into reality, "It isn't, Fred sent the Bludger at her, if it's anyone's fault, it's his."
"No...I told her about Quidditch, I encouraged her to try it out, it wouldn't have happened if I hadn't told her..." his voice was shaking just about as much as his body as Madam Pomfery came back in with bandages and some sort of liquid.
George sat in the chair beside Cedric, "Mate, it's not your fault."
"But...I was the one who told her...I feel awful..."
"Don't feel so bad about it, I can't imagine what mine and her parents are going to say about it, me, Fred, and Ron are supposed to watch out for her."
They looked back up and Madam Pomfery had Arielle's shoulder wrapped up, "She has a concussion, it could have been very very very much worse."
Cedric stood up and looked at Arielle's face, it had dirt on it. He wiped it off, "Come around kid, we need someone to laugh with at the table," he smiled a half smile. George was then on the other side Cedric could see he was shaking too, "You know, we tease her all the time about you. Like we've always seen you looking at her, but she's told us it's because you're supposed to be watching out for her. That's a nice thing to do, act like an older brother for someone who doesn't really have anyone."
George nodded, "Yeah... Like a brother... Listen, I have a question for you."
"Okay," Cedric replied to him.
"Do you... You know have feelings for Arielle? Because when I was you know... Watching out for her, I've kinda seen you holding her hand and playing with her hair and all. I'm just checking, making sure she's okay."
Cedric laughed, "No, no feelings for her, don't get me wrong, she's great, but she's like a little sister to me. Nothing more."
By then George had moved a chair by the bed and sat down. They sat in silence for a few minutes and then George spoke up, "You play well Diggory. In Quidditch."
"Oh thanks, I wasn't on my game those last few seconds because of her falling but, thanks. You play well too. You just seem afraid to hit a Bludger at a certain someone," he smirked.
"Who? You?"
"No."
"Harry?"
"No," he laughed, "Harry's on your team!"
"Then I dunno what you're talking about."
"I'm taking about Arielle!" He laughed, that was the good thing about Cedric, he could find something funny even in a bad situation.
"Still dunno what you're on about..." Cedric had then noticed that George had Arielle's hand in his and was rubbing small circles onto her skin.
"I noticed Weasley, she's the one who scored all of our points, she was the star Chaser today, but you didn't hit a single Bludger at her, your brother sure did, but... You see how that ended," there wasn't really a laugh but not really silence either, "Where is your brother anyways?"
