"Mouth." He whispered quietly as he watched the young woman step into the elevator. She paid attention to no one silently walking in, tears slowly rolling down her face. The makeup she had once wore could have been impeccable but the eyeliner had made trails down her face as it mixed with tears to her chin. She was wrapped tightly in a khaki trench coat which lead to a pair of very high very dangerous looking stiletto heels. Her lips dark shiny almost purple, glistening in the unnatural fluorescent light overhead like a dewed orchid. He loved that color. Without restraint his dick began to harden thinking of his lips, as they passed over her skin. Her breathing heavy and frantic above him. Leaning against the elevator wall he cleared his throat hoping to get her attention.
She looked over to the other lone rider. Recognizing the familiar flirtatious smile behind a pair of shades, she self consciously wiped her cheeks in a panic. "Well, holy shit... Husband." She smiled, taken aback as he had always had the habit of sneaking up on her. His timing though had always seemed impeccable. "Musicians." She mused to herself silently.
Taking off his sunglasses he eyed her wedding band as she tried so hard to quietly wipe the tears that stained her face. "That new?"
Looking down to her left hand subconsciously as if she had forgotten, she slowly shook her head. "Oh yeah, this morning actually." The somber tone in her voice said everything he needed to know about that situation.
"That was quick." He said softly probing, running his hands through his hair. "Damn, what a fucking waste."
She looked to him with a chuckle. "Well after he saw your handiwork, he put a rush on it." The slight pink stain of his name scribbled below her bellybutton had created a huge rift between her and her fiance. She wasn't exactly sure what she wanted to gain from being so dismissive with their relationship, but she hadn't expected David to so quickly want to put her under lock and key.
"Ohhh I see, I plundered his village?" He popped the collar on his coat the silver studs on the shoulder glinting.
Turning her head she watched him, coat slightly open revealing his layers of clothes underneath, shirts, scarves, trousers. It had always seemed all or nothing under that damn coat. She never really knew what to expect, but no matter what he wore or didn't wear for that matter, the level of confidence he exuded was truly legendary.
"It's never been his village." She said trying to mirror his machismo, unsuccessfully she was sure.
"Does he think he can control you with that ring?"
"He can think what he wants." She said defiantly spinning the wedding band on her left finger.
This he took as an immediate sign. Reaching forward he pulled the emergency break on the elevator. With the quick jolt, the sudden rush of the elevator coming to a screeching halt she stumbled and fell against him clumsily.
"Sorry." She smiled awkwardly trying to push herself off.
"I'm good." He wrapped his arms around her taking in the sweet and spicy perfume she had always wore. His finger then gently wiped a small residual tear that she had left drying on her chin. "Is this cause of him?"
Embarrassed by her own fragility she shook him off and rolled back onto the wall of the elevator. "No, cause me." She wiped her cheeks roughly one last time hoping she had gotten them all. She must have looked so damn foolish. "And realizing I made a big fucking mistake."
"Of course you did."
She turned to him with such fury, his hand almost reached for the brake release.
"I mean. You do know it's illegal right?" Reaching under his scarf he pulled out the strand of pearls he had stolen from her. "Their wedding night."
