Chapter 10

Next day was quite fast. Manik tried to call Manik several times but Nandani did not pick up as she was busy with the orphanage.

In the college, fab 5 Jamroom-

After one hour of practice everyone sat to talk.

Cabir: so Manik tell us how is ur "love" life going on?

Mukti: yah Manik. Aaj Kal we don't know what is going on in ur life.

Alya: guys yaar, let them be.

Manik: yah. Mujhe kya pooch rahe Ho? Ask the new couple.

Dhruv: kya Bol raha hai buddy? It's okay na. Friendship ke time mai why talk about love??

They talked about themselves and laughed a lot.

Nandani was having fun and playing with the kids in the orphanage.

She even took a selfie and uploaded it on Instagram saying: to destroy darkness, you need light from within.

Manik saw that post and smiled.

Manik's Pov: she shine's so bright. I don't even know what to do without her. Her shine has brighten my whole life. I get to sad thinking about what I did to her in the start and hurt her so much. Even with what i did to her she taught u how to smile and taught me the true meaning of life.

Soon the day ended and everyone reached home.

Nandani saw 17 missed call from Manik. She decided not to call him back Becz she wanted to punish him for giving her the movie.

Manik tried calling her again but Nandani cut his call and switched off her phone and slept.

Manik's house-

Manik: what is wrong with Nandani? Why is she not picking up? I hope she okay!

Scene shifts to Mukti's house-

Mukti and Alya were talking when suddenly the doorbell rang. Alya went to open it and saw Dhruv.

Dhruv: Alya I heard tum ajj Kal apne ghar nehi rehti! Why did u not tell any of us.

Alya: oh shit Dhruv I forgot. I was about to but then forgot to.

Dhruv: thik hai baba. Chill and give me a hug.

They both hugged tight and Mukti from behind jibed the hug. They hugged for sometime and then Alya broke a the hug, as she was in the middle getting squashed.

Everyone soon slept.

Next day when Nandani woke and realised that it was Manik's birthday tomorrow. She had so much to do. She decided to make a prank and not go to college today to make Manik crave more to meet her. And so that see can even get time to prepare.

Manik woke up and called Nandani. Nandani picked up and made her voice sound low.

Nandani (low): good morning Manik.

Manik: Nandani are u okay?

Nandani: just feeling low.

Nandani started fake coughing.

Manik: listen, mai aa raha Ho. U sleep till then.

Nandani: no no no. Manik no. Tum college jao and we will meet later. U go and practice na. Don't lose on ur practice Becz of me.

Manik was so worried he did not even remember it was his birthday tomorrow.

Nandani: Manik I will go to sleep and u go to college. Hum phone pe baat karenge and will meet tomorrow.

Manik: no Nandani. I need to meet u.

Nandani: no Manik. Mere liye. Plzzzzzzz. Now bye I need to sleep.

Before Manik could say anything, Nandani cut the call.

Nandani called a shop to order all the things she needed. She went to a garden which no one usually comes in the night.

She spotted a place under a big tree. Soon everything came and she started decorating it.

Meanwhile in the college-

Navya, Abhimanyu and aryaman had missed Nandani for 2 day in practice. They had to keep a name of the band so they called Nandani on conference.

Navya: Nandani, kaha gum jata Ho tum en 2 din?

Nandani: woh kuch kam Hai. Kya hua ha bolo.

Aryaman: ha Nandani. We need to decide the band name.

Abhimanyu: what about the 4some.

Everyone: no yaar something else.

Nandani: what about the flaming 4?

Navya: woh thik thak hai.

Aryaman and Abhimanyu: then flaming 4 it is.
