"Okay everything should be right." Hermione said to herself, she looked in the mirror, she had bought a very old cloak, and some old muggle clothes, and a long coat. She was ready, she had even written Harry a letter, a letter that explained what she was about to do.
The potion was mixed and ready, the spell was traveling in her mind, and the amulet was in her hand.
She drank the potion, took the amulet on, and stood ready with her wand. Age and location, Hermione you can do this. She thought.
"Year 1938, Wool's orphanage in London." She said and cast the spell. A cloud of smoke surrounded her, she had trouble getting air down her lungs, but just a moment later all was clear around her again.
She stood in a ally between some old buildings. She looked in her amulet, the year and location was right, she had traveled sixty one years back in time. She took off the cloak and put it in her bag, a loud bang stopped the silence, she looked up in the sky, and saw fireworks. It must be New Years. She thought.
Hermione walked up to the orphanage, knocked on the door and waited.
"I'm sorry to for waking you, but I need a shelter for the night." Hermione said and tried to look afraid, when the next loud bang came, she fell to the stone floor, and removed the tears. The loud noise made her afraid, it reminded her of the battle.
"Come in dear, I'm sure we can find a bed for you for the night." The lady said.
"I'm Mrs. Cole dear." Hermione was showed a room on the first floor, she was told that the girls slept on the first and boys on the second.
Th next morning Hermione offered herself as a volunteer, she was greeted nice by the other women in the orphanage, she became a member of the staff, and had to entertain older children between 10 and 18 years, Hermione smiled, it is better than change diapers. She thought.
