Aphrostus

Aphrodite was fuming. She couldn't believe it! That little no good jerk! It is over! We're her exact thoughts. No it was not a little mortal she was fuming about. This time she was furious at her godly boyfriend ares. She had thought they should go out on a date and let things happen afterwards but what does she find instead. That little no good piece of trash tried to do it to an innocent little teen like new goddess like sure that's how they rolled but did he have to do it in Aphrodite's BED. She had broke up with him right then and there and even then he didn't seem to care.

How could that little piece of -beep- do that to her. The goddess of love. The action had left her furious. Never would she have though that that would happen and it was highly unexpected. The love goddess wanted to get back at him for disgracing her. She thought about maybe stopping a war by making the opposing sides leaders fall in love but that would bring up more problems.

She decided to make him jealous instead. She walked over to one of her husbands forges. The same husband she had ignored and ridiculed so often. She know understood the pain he must have felt when the same occurrence happened on his bed thousand of years ago though at then time between her and ares. Fluffing her blonde hair and fixing it a little she opened the door and waltzed in.

Inside she found Hephaestus making some sort of device. This was to be excepted as he was often found doing this but she thought nothing of it. He could stop for a little for her right?

"Hi Hephaestus!" She said cheerily wrapping her pale arms around his neck.

The blacksmith God looked shocked that his wife was here a muttered a proper hello carefully removing her hands earning a pout.

"What are you making?" Aphrodite asked and gently sat down in a chair next to him smoothing out any wrinkles that appeared in her dress. Whether it was on the skin or on her clothing she could not stand wrinkles. Looking to hairy man next to her she saw he had gone back to his work. Looking over she was genuinely surprised at how determined he was when working as if the world was gone and it was just him working on the machine.

After a while, he answered her with a sigh never breaking his gaze off of his new machine.

"Why do you care"

He replied harshly making her flinch, but she had deserved it. Always cheating on her husband, and having children with the same guy. Now it would be fine if it was a mortal but a fellow god and keeping it a secret for some time.(that's what it says in Greek gods, narrarated by Percy)

Honestly it was expected that he would finally snap after so long and its not like he understood humans as well as machines but what happened next still shocked him.

"I'm.......sorry"

Aphrodite muttered softly bitting her lip, covered with pink lipstick, awkwardly.

Yes she hurt him and did it willingly but maybe, maybe she really was trying. Besides now she knew the feeling because ares was being an @$$hole and ditched her. She honestly felt empty, hollow. Yet she was unsure if she regretted it, sometimes she really did love ares.

"I......it's.....okay"

She looked at him eyes widened with shock yet slowly as it sank in a bright smile replaced her gasping mouth, rapping her arms around him she gave him a small huge finally breaking his attention away from the machine.

"Thank you"

She muttered into his chest as a brilliantly red his climbed up his cheeks. It was so long since he got a hug from a fellow immortal, his 'mother' hera never loved him and surely didn't hug him. It was new and....nice.

He awkwardly rapped his arms around her attempting to return the hug. Hephaestus smiled, happy. Aphrodite smiled too. It was nice

Sorry if Aphrodite seemed ooc but in Greek gods it said that Aphrodite and ares had done with ares and that mystery girl did basically do I thought she would be affected by that. Plus I just want some fluff right now, sorry for the long wait but I haven't had any internet this month and i am dying. I'll try to get it up fast. Sorry it's crappy, wrote it at 5 am
