**Delilah's POV**
My life was perfect. I had a beautiful house, tons of friends, had a nice education, and an unbreakable family. That all changed on July 5, 2004... nine years ago.
**FLASHBACK**
"I can't wait to go my birthday dinner Daddy!" I cheered happily
"Yes honey... we are on our way." My mom said
"How old are you turning again Delilah?" My dad asked
I burst into tears, thinking my dad really did forget how old I was.
"Oh Josh! Stop joking with her!" Mom yelled at my dad
"Sorry honey! I know you are turning the big 5!" dad said while turning around to face me
"Daddy watch out! A truck!" I screamed
"AHHHHH!" All three of our screams joined into one
**END OF FLASHBACK**
That car crash killed my mother and ever since then my dad has been going crazy. He goes out to drink and gamble nearly every single day. He also brings these strange women into our house. As I got older, I realized that we were losing money, FAST. when I was 10, I was forced into labor. I babysat little brats and cleaned houses as my dad went out blowing all of he money away. He stopped paying the bills and we lost our house. Then we moved into somebody's house. The lady who owned the house hated me. She would beat me up when my father wasn't there. One time, my father got home early and that lady was slapping me and was calling me names like "worthless bitch" and "dirty, ugly whore" he just walked right passed me and into his room. He went back to drinking his heart away. The lady was about to kick us out when she made a deal with my dad.
** Dad's POV**
"You can stay in my house IF you kick your stupid daughter out." she said
I though for a second. She was already 13. She didn't even go to school so she wouldn't miss her school or friends. IF SHE HAD ANY! I laughed to myself.
"Yes. I will make Delilah live on the streets."
