You knew you were dying,you regretted laughing at the face of death,or was it?..Despite the wound you refused to die and propped yourself up sat down against the wooden blood stained wall.It was cold but you were tough.Your soul managed to keep some of your life force inside.

Meanwhile,Sans and Papyrus were inside their home and in their rooms,asleep.Yes,believe it or not,skeletons need sleep too.

Papyrus was still awake watching you from the window on the roof.He saw you get up (sort of) and shiver as it was always cold and snowy outside.Papyrus knew what he had done but did he really want to? it was all for the sake of his job as a member of the royal guard.But he snapped out of it and closed the blinds of his bedroom window and proceeded to fall asleep.Sans went to sleep hours ago,lazy fuck.

-the very next morning-

papyrus screaming at sans next door woke you up.You felt marginally better,even the wound from your broken soul looked better surprisingly,maybe their intention was not to kill you? who knows,but you knew that couldn't be good.

Suddenly the door swung open that gave you the fright of your life.It was in fact,sans.what did he want?. You narrowed your eyes at him as he approached the cage door and opened it.

''Mornin'' he said and proceeded you grab your arm and drag you out,he was pretty strong despite him being so short ''nnngghh....where..where are we going?'' you asked,''Pap's orders''he answered.You pushed his boney hand off of your arm so you could walk,who the hell wants to be dragged? ''i can walk...''you said irritated ''heh,you're lucky i didn't slice through that weak lil' soul of yours'' he said back with his usual grin ''just to make sure you don't start makin an escape...'' suddenly he snapped his fingers and within seconds your hands were tied with some sort of magic leash tied to them too ''agh,why did you make them so tight?'' you asked glaring at him ''...i guess i betta shut you up too'' he pulled out some duct tape and sealed your mouth with it ''mmmfff!!!'' you mmff'd angrily ''thats better,now start walkin' '' you decided it wasn't worth struggling anymore,so you went with it.

You trudged through the snow with sans behind you with the leash,you felt like a dog.It took quite a while to finally get to Papyrus,at least an hour and a half,you didn't really know how time worked in the underground,it felt like longer really.''Hey boss'' sans shouted over to his brother,you looked up to see Papyrus setting up what looked like a puzzle and it didn't look very safe either,in fact,since when has anything not killed you?

''GOOD BROTHER,NOW LEAVE'' he shouted ''alrighty''sans said and disappeared and so did that goddamn leash,but your hands were still tied ''HUMAN!'' he shouted,making you jump ''I SEE YOU RECOVERED,SURPRISING FOR A WEAKLING LIKE YOU'' he said and stepped forward.He released your hands that were now red from the tightness ''w-why am i not dead?'' you had so many questions,but this was number 1 on your list.The corners of his mouth forged in into a smirk.He grabbed your chin pulling you forward slightly ''I DECIDED TO KEEP YOU HUMAN,DESPITE THE POWER OF YOUR SOUL''he said sort of whispering,as he was very close to your face.''i thought you said i was weak!'' you said. He looked amused and laughed slightly.

'What in the hell is going on? ugh.stop asking questions,me.It wont help' you thought.''NYE HE HE....THE KING DOESN'T NEED TO KNOW YOU'RE HERE,YOU KNOW,AS LONG AS YOU DO WHAT I SAY''he said ''i'd rather be killed then be your servant!!'' you said glaring at him also ''YOU REALLY WOULD RATHER DIE AND RISK YOUR WHOLE WORLD FROM GETTING DESTROYED? IS THAT WHAT YOU REALLY WANT?''he said letting go and caressing his gloved hand over your cheek.You took a step back and thought about this 'what is he on about? if my soul is given to the king,it'll be my fault if everybody on the surface dies,innocent people! i cant let that happen...' you looked down.''Fine..'' you said quietly,a tear dropping down on to the snow,''WISE CHOICE'' he said and stepped closer, you however didn't have the need to move 'its better i die down here then billions dying because of one...' you thought.''SINCE YOU NOW SERVE ME,I'LL GIVE YOU YOUR FIRST TASK''he said.You looked up wondering what will that task will be.
